Use of any photos I have taken is fine for PERSONAL genealogy use, including your trees you may have on Ancestry.com, please just give credit. Thanks! All the photos that I have taken at Elmwood Cemetery in Mason City are also on file with the cemetery. CK
Family lines that I am researching include (but not limited to): Clark-Shunkwiler, Borel, Beisel, Lease, Peschl, Wise and Hill.
Preserving history, yours and mine, one stone at a time. I do this out of respect for those that have gone before us, so that they are remembered and any and every stone in the cemetery be preserved digitally forever.

Just saw that you added a photo for the Phoebe Goodrich gravestone. I had thought she had gone back to using the Pharnes name, but this photo shows that she definitely has the Goodrich name on her stone. Thanks for the photo!
|S Hemingway||Raymond Pharnes|
Thanks so much for the Raymond Pharnes gravestone photo. He is my 2nd cousin 2x removed. Photos add so much to the Findagrave memorials. Thank you for the part you do in making these memorials more complete...your work is appreciated.

Thank you for the fast response of posting memorial photo for Phyliss
I just discovered the online map the other day which allowed me to identify these babies as my grandmother's siblings. I was able to visit the cemetery in person last summer but didn't know where they were so I couldn't do it myself. I'm too far away to go again. Thanks for helping me!

Thank you very much for the photo. I am trying to orient myself. Would you say the grave is in between the cross and flowers (which is then in between the flowers and the road?)

|Betty Stripling||Henry M McClaren|
Thank you for the photo of where he is buried. Makes it easier for folks who would like to know if there is a headstone, or not.

A photo of where he should be, would be great and then a note could be put on Find A Grave that there is no stone. Thank you for going the "extra mile" there, it is much appreciated.
|David Olsen||Jack James|
Thank you so much for the photo for Jack. He was from A Company 2nd Battalion 5th Cavalry and one of 40 men that was killed in this event in Vietnam. Soon I will have them all back together again where they belong and then my work will be done.
