Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm strictly a family researcher. For almost three decades, I've chased my own ancestors all over the map.

It doesn't matter one iota to me who "owns" a memorial. What's important is for information to be as correct and complete as possible. If I send a correction, additional information or suggest family links, please don't be offended. Be assured, I have done some personal research before making this request.

The people I cannot abide are the "Obituary Hunters." Those people who create memorials the day the obituary appears in the paper and pre-funeral. They've added to their count so of course, they never go back and the memorial remains an "unknown burial" memorial. Their postings keep many family members from memorializing their own family.

Two requests:
Photos: ONLY post photos for which YOU hold the copyright (meaning photos you took)!!!
The copyright of all photos posted to Find A Grave remains with the original submitter. Do not use photos from any other website unless you have prior consent of the original submitter.

DIY Edits: If requesting a change via Find A Grave’s “do-it-yourself” edit menu, be kind enough to also send some proof. Requests without a source or are "sourced" only by a downloaded family tree will be declined. If you opt to post under an anonymous screen name and not take messages, making it impossible for me to request a source, don't waste your time. DIY edits will not be automatically approved.

The only sources I found were that her siblings that were born around her were born in Westerly, RI

Thanks for the information. I have posted it as you typed it out. Do you know where her first husband is buried so we can link them?

Sorry to hear about Carol's passing. I was curious if you would be taking over her memorials. I'm looking for help correcting an entry where she evidently didn't know the correct name of a cemetery and inadvertently created a new one.

Will you be continuing her involvement with FindaGrave?

V.M. Colvin
Hi, I just added the headstone picture for Colvin and I noticed in the write up that it is presumed he died in a place other than Rochester. The Mt. Hope cemetery records give his place of death as Rochester. Thought you might want to know. jeanp
