I have had the genealogy 'bug' for many, many years and used the resources of 'Find A Grave' many, many times. |
I wanted to give back some of what I have received from 'Find A Grave' so I signed up as a photo volunteer and have been severely bitten by that bug. I find I really enjoy the small, older and out of the way cemeteries.
My family interests are Lombard (Lumbard), Darby, Meers, Zinn, Churchill, Sensor and applicable branches.
Please feel free to use my photos in any of your genealogical endeavors.
If I have memorialized your family member, I will be glad to transfer.

Do you happen to have a headstone for Lucas B Schuyler at Highland Cemetery, Lock Haven, PA by chance.
His wife's 1906 obituary says he died 4 years ago (1902) and a Veteran's Burial card lists him for dying 1890. I'm curious which date it really is. I created a grave for him linked to her, but don't know the date.

Thank you for processing the edits. We have located three more children and they will all be linked if the edit requests are processed. Unfortunately, one might be owned by an inactive contributor who has not responded to email messaging.--Storres

Since you seem to have taken many photos at Highland, I am wondering do you have one for a James Bair/Baer born abt 1849 and died in 1897. He was in the Civil War and obit says buried at Highland.
I found TWO different veteran's burial cards on Ancestry.com, both for him, but with different spellings for each - James Bair and James Baer. I'm sure they are for the same person, but not sure which is the correct spelling or what the actual headstone reads (unless there are 2 different headstones for the same person). Could you please check your photo records and see if you have him listed for Soldier's Circle burial as his obituary states, to see if you have him in there?
THANKS so much!

Just discovered your memorial for my relative John Burries at Highland Cemetery: Find A Grave Memorial# 167265474.
I had created one for him in 2015 but had wrong spelling on last name.
Could you please add your photos to my memorial Find A Grave Memorial# 140910704.
I also created one for his son Charles Find A Grave Memorial# 140917240. Perhaps you could merge your memorial 167265490 with mine as well.
Finally Beth created memorial for Frances S. Burries in 2014: Find A Grave Memorial# 136008526. Please add your photos from 167265474 of the gravestone.
Thanks Dave and Happy new Year.

I am reviewing my messages and I am not sure I ever responded to you.
Yes, I do believe this is the correct John Williamson.
Thank you so much for the headstone photo. I really do appreciate it.
|I Love Genealogy||RE: Headstone 67314282 Thomas Crawford|
Find A Grave combined the duplicate graves and took the headstone photos with them, but now there are two of your same photo on the new combined page. You might want to delete one since they are the same headstone photo.

There is a big mix up with two Thomas C Crawfords.
The one you have added a headstone to is a wrong grave that needs deleted. It is a duplicate to this Thomas C and was created AFTER the other one. They also have him connected to the wrong parents, but that is a whole other can of worms.
This is the grave you added his headstone to Find A Grave NO. 147783029
It should to to his persons 67314282 (and his veteranís burial card even shows he had two stones, one government and one family)
