Bio

Born and raised in Aurora, transplanted to Kendall County in 1968. Fell in love with the rural county and its history. Assisted the former Kendall Co Genealogical Society in transcribing the county's cemeteries. After that group dissolved, the late Vic Smith and I resumed to transcribe the Oswego (Oswego Twp), Oak Grove (Bristol Twp), St. Patrick's (Bristol Twp), Elmwood (Bristol Twp) and several abandoned cemeteries. Each year I write scripts for the annual Oswego Cemetery Walk. I love hearing from descendents who have family information and anecdotes about their Kendall County ancestors. I'm currently heavily involved with historic preservation and was recently appointed to Chair the Kendall County Historic Preservation Commission.
