My granddaughter at the grave of her 2nd cousin whom she was named after.|
My sister, Nan Kelly, passed away 1-10-17. I have taken custody of her memorials. I will be glad to help with her memorials if I can.
It is my wish that I have entered someone you are looking for. If I have entered any one related to you and they are not related to me - I will be happy to transfer. My goal is not to see how many memorial I can create, but to help you find your love ones . I don't mean to offend anybody, the memorials are made so love ones can find their relatives. If I have entered anything incorrectly, I will be glad to correct.
Any and all information or pictures, I have uploaded, are meant for sharing. Family memories were meant to be passed on. I just don't understand anyone that thinks different. I think if you don't want to share, than don't put them on a public site.
Today we walked where others walked
On a lonely, windswept hill;
Today we talked where other cried
For Loved Ones whose lives are stilled.
Today our hearts were touched
By graves of tiny babies;
Snatched from the arms of loving kin,
In the heartbreak of the ages.
Today we saw where the grandparents lay
In the last sleep of their time;
Lying under the trees and clouds -
Their beds kissed by the sun and wind.
Today we wondered about an unmarked spot;
Who lies beneath this hollowed ground?
Was it a babe, child, young or old?
No indication could be found.
Today we saw where Mom and Dad lay.
We had been here once before
On a day we'd all like to forget,
But will remember forever more.
Today we recorded for kith and kin
The graves of ancestors past;
To be preserved for generations hence,
A record we hope will last.
Cherish it, my friend; preserve it, my friend,
For stones sometimes crumble to dust
And generations of folks yet to come
Will be grateful for your trust.

Thank you for all the transfers. There will be more coming. If you get tired of my pestering, please let me know. I appreciate all you have done and continue to do.
The William H Whitaker buried in this grave was married to Lydia Jane Scott in Hood County, TX 1893. I'm not sure why William is linked to Carolyn and their daughter (born Ohio) who records show to have been William "W." Whitaker not William "H." Whitaker We even have the story behind why William was in Clarendon. Would like to submit info to correct it.
*Biggest factor to disclaiming: he'd have been 12 years old when the daughter was born.
Took a picture of the stone this weekend and added it to the page. Let me know what you think and I will submit edits. I have actually seen someone's tree that thinks this incorrectly as well.
|C. P. Malone||Lamar Roten, # 34033130|
Lamar Roten couldn't possibly be the father of William Joseph Roten # 65667505. William was born in 1870, Lamar was born in 1944!!! Also, my husband (Lamar's cousin) doesn't think he even married. The bio for William's mother Lucinda Frances Morgan, # 64199988, says she was married to a "Lamar "Myra" Allen Roten". The Lamar Roten linked to William is Andy Lamar Roten.

I've sent requests to transfer the Orcutts. I apologize because I sent an addition to 46908394. You have already put the information in as a note.
That takes care of the Orcutts. I have many more, but will try not to over burden you with changes or requests. I will contact you on another day for them.
I appreciate all you have done and all the effort you have put into the pictures, memorials, etc. Janie

I apologize. Its been awhile since I've made changes on this website. I forgot about the Edit button. I would be willing to take over the management of their memorials. There will be a lot of them and I hate to burden you with all of it. I appreciate you for all you have done. I do live in Hall County, but travel quite a bit. I will let you know as we go. Thank you.

I have moved his memorial and transferred ownership over to you.
Find A Grave memorial for Ronald Vorheis.
He is not buried in the Citizens Cemetery. I made him a memorial at the family plot next to his house. I remember calling the funeral home in Clarendon and they told me that he was buried there.
Memorial # 62954787.
I'm sorry to read about the passing of your sister. I've often seen her name on Find a Grave, although we never met. It is very hard to lose a sister.
