Bio Photo Mary Brooks Gilmore and Carl Allen Gilmore with children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. I do both the adoptive (Brooks) and birth (Eilar)surnames in my father's line as well as many others connected.
I have been working on Genealogy since the 1970's, beginning with my maternal Grandmother who started me on the interest. Then I worked in a Library History Room for 21 years, helping others.
I love it when family members contact me for information and would urge any who might see me here to contact me

RE: Ann Elizabeth MOORE PHETTEPLACE
Hello,

Thank you for your kind words.

Ann Elizabeth Moore is my 1st cousin, 4 times removed. So I obviously did not know them, but was able to follow them pretty early on in my genealogy work.

Frankly, I do not recall how I came by the picture, but again, it was not something I physically had. At most what I did was tie things together that other people had.

Bundy Museum
Julia Bundy Blue
Hello Mary, I saw your inquiries about Julia Ford Bundy, and want to offer my help. I'm from the Bundy Museum of History and Art in Binghamton, NY, and I've done quite a bit of research about Harlow and his family. Julia remarried after Harlow's death, hence her new surname, "Blue." The story is interesting and kind of mysterious. Her children were Helen Carpenter, Bruce Bundy, and Margaret Bundy Scott. Peggy Emery was Margaret's daughter from her second marriage. If you would like any more info, or to share information with me, feel free to contact me at bundymuseum@yahoo.com Thanks, Janna

Hello,
In reply to your inquiry, the way it works at Find A Grave is that only the person who posts the child can link a parent, not the other way around. Since I did post the parent but did not post the child in question, I cannot clear that up. You will have to contact the contributor who posted the child and linked it to the parent in question. Thanks/

Mary:

I'm pleased we could resolve your search question.
No, I'm not involved with (Find-a-Grave conversation section).

Over the years, more people show interest in family lots and location perspective, especially when far distances are involved; so I occasionally post such views, even when not requested. Only 2-3 times have I had "complaints" about wasting a picture spot!

Bundy / Blue
Mary:

Good news.
Please see the two memorials for new pictures. In fact, Julia Ford Blue is buried next to Harlow Bundy, though separated now by a young tree. I will leave it up to you as to an actual spousal link.

Also in the lot is a joint grave for Bruce Ford Bundy, Helen Carpenter, and Peggy Emery Engl, in case there are family connections here as well.

Mary:

Just got back into town and found your update. Checking the existing San Gabriel listings, with your mention of "Blue", I found #111554241 -- Julia (Ford) Blue (1857 - 1936), which I documented in 2013.

Off-hand, I cannot tell you the location in comparison to Harlow Bundy.

RE: Harlow Bundy site #111554029
Mary:

Thanks for the contact. You mention Julia Bundy. I checked this morning with the California Death Index and found mention of a Julia A. Bundy (1835 - 06/18/1917). She died in Los Angeles County, but no other information immediately available.

Hope this is of some help with your search.

Though there is no mention of her in the San Gabriel Cemetery records, I will be back there later next week and hopefully I can ask the office to check their records further.

Mary,
They are already linked so I will decline your edit because it won't change anything.

The other one is the duplicate, as it was added later. Please move your picture to the original. Thanks!

Hello Mary! I added the maiden name Upper to this listing. I didn't find any of the others listed in your post on Find A Grave. If you have any dates or other info I can add it to her bio and connect the relatives.
