We are somehow distantly related then :) The cemetery where Martha is buried is in the middle of a farmer's active crop field and is privately owned by the farmer and his family. Their family has owned the cemetery since the 1930s. Due to it's placement in their crop field, it is not open to the public. I've established a good relationship with them and most of the history I know regarding the cemetery comes from them.
The official records for the cemetery were destroyed in a hotel fire in the 1920s, so there is no official record of who is buried there. I have only been able to located approximately 30 markers, but the brothers tell me there are more than 300 buried there. In the 1940s, a prairie fire swept through the cemetery and destroyed most of the markers. So sadly, its almost an impossible task to figure out who is buried there. I will ask the farmers if they remember a Joel Nash. Apparently they played in the cemetery as children and can remember a lot of the names.
I will gladly add her family info to the memorial.

|James Hirsch||RE: Hobert Pelham|
Do you want me to post the picture on the memorial page? I have info about Hobert's grand father and great uncles civil war service.
I sent an email to your personal address but I suspect it may have went to your spam folder since it didn't recognize my address. I would prefer to send this info direct to you instead of posting on a public forum.
I don't think I have any other pictures of Hobart. I do have one or two of Verlin and some of Maud's family. Unfortunately no one identified the people in all the pictures.
|James Hirsch||Hobert Pelham|
My grandmother was Myrtle Pelham - Hobert's sister. I have a Pelham family photo taken about 1905 or 1906. It includes Earl, Hobart, Guy, Myrtle, Florence (Muffett)and Wilbert. Also included is William and Elizabeth Pelham - Hobart's grandparents. Let me know if you would like a pdf file of the photo.
|Daniel Vick||Andrew Cole / Catherine Cole|
Is anyone familiar with one of Andrew's daughters, Catherine Cole? I am in that part of the family line.

|Cindy Kohl||KOHL Line|
Hi, I noticed you posted a number of old family photos for the Kohl line. I am curious if you are related to the line. In a number of those photos I find a strong resemblance to my father-in-laws family in the hair/hair line/eyes. I've not been able to document a direct connect. Would be interested in corresponding if it is your line.

Hi Patty, I'm sorry but my research is not going in that direction. I come in through the Gaines side. Good luck on your search but you'd better bring your lunch. I find it is never ending. Catherine
