Thank You
Thank for all your help. I appreciate all the hours you have taken in the libraries and doing research. Our son through Great grand parents are buried in United Cemetery and most of the people I sold newspapers to , cut grass for and ran errands for , are buried here. Few "picture takers" are able to be so helpful .
Again thanks ,

Jerome Furlong
I am looking over some old notes and came across Jerome Harte on a 1920 Census living with Frank and Mary Furlong. I have pencil notes of Jerome's birth and death dates that are the same as the Memorial. He may fit into my family tree but I do not remember where. Are you related or just posting the memorial. Hope to hear from you. My direect email is jr@jjamieson.com

Reuben & Hattie Higginbotham Grove
Linda,
I will be linking children of Reuben & Hattie Higginbotham Groves. Among other sources, I have a copy of Josiah Van Kirk Thompson Journals, which mostly duplicate your dates. But there are some discrepancies (slight.) Did you know that he said that Corena Belle, Tabitha Lou (Bertha) and Frank Lesley, all of whom died within a few months with diphtheria? I had guessed that it was Russian flu.
I am interested in the family as Hattie C. Higginbotham was a 1C3R. Her grandparents, Samuel & Hester Cowden Higginbotham, were my GGG grandparents. On my family data (Ancestry.com: Gottling and Hodgson 2016) my mother was Ruth Swan Goe. My G grandmother in that line was Hester Higginbotham, d/o James Cowden Higginbotham. Yes, keeping track of one or two gs has been a problem!
Regards, James Goe Gottling (grandson of James Higginbothem Goe)
PS: If you do not have a copy of JVTs Journals, his data about the Grove family is in Vol. 6, page 389, Id be pleased to send you my copies or simply the relevant pages. Write to jgottling@comcast.net

Thank you Linda
...for adding headstone photos for the Noble family in Greenlawn Cemetary in Tiffin, Ohio. I am a grandchild of a Noble, and your assistance is a great help with my preparation for family Temple work. Thank you so much!

RE: Ethel McFall Curtis
Thank you very much for the location. Are you researching this family? I am primarily interested in Eliza Tuttle, the grandmother of Ethel. So, if you know anything about her I would be interested to know.

Here is the record I found on Ancestry.com supporting the "Elnore" spelling:

Gender: Male
Age: 27
Birth Date: abt 1904
Marriage Date: 29 Aug 1931
Marriage Place: Gogebic, Michigan, USA
Father: John H Black
Mother: Willie Black
Spouse: Nancy Elnore Shidler
Spouse Gender: Female
Spouse Age: 21
Spouse Birth Date: abt 1910
Spouse Father: Henry J Shidler
