I am researching my own family as well as documenting cemeteries. I feel it is important to photograph stones before they are forever lost to time. |
Please do not take offense if I add a different photo to a memorial page. Maybe the photo I took gives a different perspective due to time of year, lighting, etc. Of course, I welcome any additional photos and/or editions to memorials I have created.
Photo Use: If I took the gravestone photo, feel free to use it. Please do not use personal family photos without my permission.
Edits: Use the Edit button on the memorial page for additions/corrections. Do not use personal email for edits unless absolutely necessary.

P.S. I just want to give a special thank you to all the people who volunteer to take photo requests. Many times it is impossible to see a grave in person and your photo is the next best thing. Many thanks for your time. Paying it forward!

Dear Kimberly, First i would like to thank you for the work you do on find a grave. If it wasnt for your time and commitment i would not have been able to finally find my mom's great great grandparents. We are thrilled. I am a find a grave member (#48524849) and understand how much work goes into creating a memorial
Kimberly, unless you are related to Ann Crosby, i graciously request management of Ann Pierce Crosby. I would like to connect her to the rest of our family. I would have submitted the edits but there are so many to add i thought i would make my request to you first. Ann had 10 children that need to be added to her memorial. Her grandaughter had 9, her daughter had 7 and my mom had 8. So you can see if i started to submit this info it could be quicker and easier to transfer managment. However, if you are related Ann i understand if you do not want to transfer and i surely would like to talk with you. Please feel free to use by email address at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you again Kimberly for the work that you do.

I've submitted edits for Mary Thomas Bringhurst, the owner and last resident of Rockwood Mansion, who died in 1965 at age 100. She shares a gravestone with her younger brother Edward Bringhurst (1884-1939). Both were children of Edward Bringhurst Jr & Anna James Webb, and neither ever married.

Thank you again. I will visit her next time I am in Delaware. Do you or anyone you know trace families genealogies? I am having a tough time trying to trace Mary & John Logue to their hometown in Ireland. Common names, no middle names, no clue...LOL :)

Thank you for the picture of my great great Grandmothers grave marker as I had no idea where she was buried. I appreciate your efforts.

I've checked the Cathedral Cemetery database and the name there agrees with my memorial.
