|Chirie_1||William Race ALLISON|
I have just been re-researching William Race ALLISON and his family and discovered that he was not buried at St. David's Park, Hobart, Tasmania.
He was actually buried at St. George's Anglican Church Cemetery, Albuera Street, Battery Point, Tasmania. This is where he was also married.
His Memorial Monument was removed, renovated, and re-erected in 1940 at St. David's Park, as the St. George's Cemetery was no longer in use (and had not been for some considerable time).
St. George's Anglican Church Cemetery, Battery Point, has not been entered as a cemetery on 'Find A Grave' at this stage.
I thought that you would like to know.
With best wishes and warmest regards,
