If you share an ancestor with me, I'd love to hear from you and trade info, or pictures, or whatever I have. I would appreciate whatever you have. I am always eager to meet a new cousin.|
You are entitled to use any photo I have posted. I took them so others could see the gravestones of their ancestors and families. You are entitled to use any photo (or document) of a person I have posted on my memorials. I have access to an extensive family treasure of photos--which I have scanned and cataloged. I am more than willing to share.
If you have photos or documents of a family member of mine, a copy would be greatly appreciated.
Since retiring after 36 years in publishing, I've transitioned from publishing McGraw-Hill mathematics textbooks to creating books about travel, family members, and the Civil War. Family names include: Block, Norden, Luderman, Potterf, Morris, Young, Rulf, and Kesling. My wife's family names include Swift, Wach, Volz, Allen, McMillan, Garreaux, Pettingill, Nankervis, and Yendow.
For the Civil War, I'm most interested in the 14th OVI, Company E. I'm trying to identify the place of burial for all the members of Company E of the 14th OVI. My great grandfather, Charles Harrison Block, served in that regiment from August 1861 (he was 16) until July of 1865.
If you see an ancestor to you that I have uploaded, please request a transfer. I am happy to do so, even if it falls outside of the Find A Grave guidelines.
I am always willing to try to help others find their ancestors as other Find A Grave members have helped me.

Found gravesite e-5729 and all of company E also.
Tried to add 5729 to memorial page but there is already a photo there of 5729. Maximum number of photos is 5.

Thanks for the information....will check it out and get back to you

Charles Limboch is hopefully buried in marietta national......but when i checked directory there is no section or gravesite number....over 16,000 buried here...would be difficult to find. Research and try to find this information, I will be glad to take photo if submitted.

Art, since you have indicated on John's memorial page that John does not have a grave marker, you might want to delete your request for a picture. (That's my OCD rearing its ugly head 😀)

That's a good idea to put that info on his memorial. I have never done that but will in the future. It will save time for others who might want to look for the grave. Thanks!
Regarding Wilson Lathrop in Ford Cem, Lucas Co, OH the image is right side up in my picture file but when I add it to the memorial it is rotated.

Hi Art - I requested a copy of Conrad Woodcox's obituary from the Paulding County library and transcribed what was emailed to me. Thanks for your assistance!
