St Georges Anglican Cemetery
James, you were correct about this cemetery. We went through the town to the church and nearly all of the headstones are gone. The only ones left are the three large ones for Townsend, Rowe and one other. So sad. I plan to write to the church next month to see if they know where the old headstones are located but we don't plan to be back in the area for quite a while.

RE: St Georges Anglican Cemetery
That is sad news but thanks for letting me know before we went searching. So grateful that you and others were able to document what you could.

Do you have an address for this cemetery? Find A Grave isn't showing a map or address. We are planning to visit next month to say hello to our Salls relatives buried there.
Thanks, Sharon Lantz

RE: Glenview Cemetery
I'm sorry, but I have no idea. I have found people entered graves there without clear documentation that the person was actually buried there. In George Foulk's case, you might want to contact either the person who created the page or the person who maintains it. You might also contact a contributor named Anne Rupert. I believe she may have been the person who wrote the cemetery description information and may be able to clarify that information for you. I do know that prior to the creation of Glenview Cemetery, residents were buried in Boatman Cemetery, but it is a distance from Glenview.

Sorry,
I can not delete them as sibling. This is part of the find a grave program. They list all of the children as siblings. Even the one on the memorial.
If you look at any other children you will see they will be listed as a sibling to themselves.

RE: Townsend Family
Thank you, James. Do you know who has the sexton records for the cemetery? I know there must be more Townsends buried there.
Looking for Mary Wells Townsend m. Micah Townsend. I am sure she must be there if he is?
I think they all moved to Canada during Rev. War.
Loyalists.

Richard Blythe McCorckle
Hello: Thanks for all your beautiful work. I wondered where you found the story of Richard Blythe McCorckle and his freed slave Micah. I'm a descendant of his and my mother told a similar story, but we never really knew whether it was true or just suspect family lore.
