The human stories and history that can be found in cemeteries have facinated my husband and I for years. We are happy to share this facination with the Find A Grave community. Please contact us if you have any additional information to add to our memorials. Also, please feel free to use our pictures to enhance your family histories. A credit would be nice but not a requirement.|

Hi! Rowland was my great uncle, everyone called him by Lloyd not Rowland. So even though it is his middle name it is technically his nickname too. So I would like it if you could please put his nickname as Lloyd.

|Donald Campbell||Thank you. Memorial Number 174685565|
Thank you for your work! This memorial is for one of my great grandfathers. The information on the Find-a-Grave site provides helpful information which my father and me are glad to have.

Thank you for this history. Barbara Rees Graham, Elizabeth's mother, died shortly after Elizabeth was born. She and her siblings were given to other relatives to be raised, even though their father was still at home. Elizabeth was raised by her mothers parents, Viet and Minerva Rees.
Elizabeth's father, Orbison James Graham, left the family home when Elizabeth was 17. He went to Arizona to look for gold. He never had contact with his children again and ultimately died and was buried in Arizona.
I think he left Kansas after the 1885 Kansas Census.

Got it! Thank you! Also thank you for making this Memorial. We wondered where he was buried. Do you have any more information on the 845 Indigent people of this cemetery?

Just curious if you have a copy of the death certificate mentioned on this memorial. My husband's 2nd Great Grandfather. Thanks, Deena

Carney Hartley also had a daughter Mary Hartley Lawyer. If you can contact me I can give you her birth date. Are you related to Carney Hartley?
Are you able to send me an email?
Thanks for responding.
I am sure I was talking to the office that manages the cemetery (and others) in Prescott, because she made sure I knew that it was Prescott.
You can see that the plaques for both Velma & Harry are held by the top screws and are not permanent set screws that are used after the ashes are interred.
The dates are the same on both memorials (maybe I edited them?), but she died in 1985, according to Oakwood Cemetery.
Other than that, I'm lost.

I called the Mountain View Cemetery and they do not have a record of Velma Maloney (Memorial# 155429263) or any other Maloney (i. e. Harry, her husband). In fact, the woman there looked the memorial up and said she does not recognize the wall in the second picture. The photos are not from Mountain View Cemetery.
I also talked to Oakwood Cemetery in Bucyrus, Ohio and they said she is buried there next to her mother (Memorial# 119683854).
I don't know where Harry is buried. If I find out, I will let you know.
