Bio and Links
Bio Photo I fell into gravehunting naturally, having been into doing my family genealogy since high school. I had been seeking out the graves of my ancestors, and quite by accident, stumbled onto the grave of a Hollywood celebrity nearby. In my spare time, I love researching old Los Angeles, with particular interest in architecture, and love spending time with my wife and two teenaged children.

I realize that many of the memorials I have created are for prominent personalities. I have not endeavored to write the biographies that they deserve, but I would welcome submissions to enhance the entries.

Frank Rader 1848-1897
From "The record-Union" Sacramento newspaper 4/4/1897

Estate of Ex-Mayor Rader.
Los Angeles, April 3. Mrs. Clara Rader, widow of the late Frank Rader filed a petition today for probate of her husband's will. Mrs. Rader, the widow, is named in the will as sole legatee and devisee of the same.

So I guess his wife's name was Clara and she survived him.....I have the clipping if you would like me to email it to you....
Cheers from Ohio! Steward

Well Scott, you have been keeping me busy this morning!! LOL Thanks for the edits. I was going through some of your virtual cemeteries and loved them! Very interesting subjects. I love wandering and shoot randoms headstones. Although I prefer to add photos to existing memorials it seems the places I stroll have been untapped. Thanks for what you do. Do you know my friend Luis Mata? Du Mort> James Mason

Japanese WW2 POW deaths
I cant find a list of the death memorial of the Japanese POW Camps Such as Cabanatuan and Davao and of the Hell Ships which contained American POW's that were sunk by American Submarines during the last years of WW2. Sorry to bother you Sir.

Thanks,
George
