Since retirement, I have had lots of time to work on genealogy for my family and my husband's family. I enjoy visiting cemeteries and recording the burials to help others find their relatives.|
When requesting a transfer, please tell me how you are related to the individual. I'm not a stickler for the 4 generation rule, but I do like to know your connection to the person.
PLEASE DO NOT ADD DEATH CERTIFICATES TO MY MEMORIALS. There are family members who do not wish to have death certificates displayed. If you need a death cert, there are several places to look them up.

|Shirley Crow||Caroline Gooch, Steiner Valley Cemetery|
I am helping clean up the SV Cemetery and see you manage the memorial for Caroline. I am looking for the grave of my Great Grandmother Elizabeth Henry Williams at this cemetery. Elizabeth's brother-in-law was Christopher Columbus Gooch. Christopher's sister-in-law was Caroline Gooch. I haven't found these graves yet and the cemetery needs a lot of cleaning up and clearing of vegetation but I think these two will be buried near each other since they died within 6 weeks of each other.

You're welcome, it's an enjoyable pastime which provides a service to others. A county history publication cited Mary Lide's daughter Julia as having been awarded the Croix de Guerre during WWI for service as a nurse in France, and her memorial on this website reflects burial at Arlington.

Thank you very much for the transfer of Samuel and Medina Hitt!

Had tried that one before. I'm thinking he may have been buried without a stone.

You posted a photograph of a sign on the Info page for Chapel Hill Cemetery, De Queen, Sevier County, Arkansas. On the sign, I can read "Chapel Hill Cemetery Contact Cemetery Board for ???" Then it looks like there may be a telephone number but I can't make it out. I am trying to find out if my 2X great grandfather is buried in this cemetery. He died in De Queen in 1906. You don't happen to have any contact information for the Cemetery or Cemetery Board, do you?

Thank you so much for transferring Edna R. Clay's memorial to me, Elsie Clay. I can wait to get to the Hillsboro Cemetery to visit the grave. It sounds lovely. Thanks again.

Would you please consider transferring the memorial of Edna R. Clay, #15653784, to me, Elsie Clay, 47489638. She is the grand aunt of my husband, Robert Mitchel Clay, #170670853? Thanks.
