I've been geneaology nut for about 10 or so years now. I love this website and appreciate everyone who has been sponsering and maintaining all the resting places of our parted ones.|
I have been researching the following names:
Kaltenegger,Denkinger, Fischer, Hofmann, Bohm, Engelman, Ragsdale, Mahoney, Mills, Hayes, Fite, Davis, Corcoran, Conroy, Jones, Wiegand, Erpelding, etc...
I am a 7th great grandaughter of Godfrey (I) and Mary Ragsdale (maternal side) who Emigrated from Nottinghamshire, England to America and settled in Jamestown, only to perrish during the Opechancanough massacre of 1644. Their one month old infant son Godrey(II), was a sole survivor of the Ragsdale family, and it is believed that most Ragsdales in America extend from this line. My father was first generation American of German and Swiss Parents.
I currently live in North Platte, Nebraska and can take pictures at local cemetaries, this pretty much means North Platte cemetaries. The North Platte Geneological society and public library have just stared catalogging the graves in the cemetaries which will make it easier to locate loved ones for others. I'll be more active once spring comes,for real, LOL, I want nice pictures,out of respect to you and yours' and right now its pretty dingy with the mud and snow, so bare with me.
4/11/2013: I asked for help at the library today with help finding a good map of North Platte Cemetery. Low and behold they have cdroms full of pictures of grave stones just waiting for a volunteer to put them on Find A Grave. I volenteered to help the North Platte Geneaological Society accomplish this. If you do find your love ones and want a transfer let me know and I will transfer if I manage the FAG site.
For now, all North Platte Geneaological Society (NPGS)Pictures are in my North Platte Cemetery, Virtual Cemetery. You are welcome to the pictures without permission.
May 28, 2013: I went to the North Platte cemetery this morning to rephotograph stones that were blurred, It is totally amazing!!, all the beautiful flowers that were placed on graves by family members, remembering their loved ones!!
If you see an error in my work please let me know, I will be glad to make corrections. Happy researching!!

|RitaJean Lambert||wrong name|
I may have sent my message for name change to the wrong place. After rereading your notice, it appears that you were responsible for cleaning up the grave site. I really appreciate your doing so. Thank you very much. RitaJean Lambert
|RitaJean Lambert||Wrong name|
Hello. My name is RitaJean (Frederici) Lambert. The name you list for my brother, Harold Frederici has his middle name wrong. He was a twin to my oldest surviving brother, Harley. Harold's middle name was AUGUST, not Anthony as you have listed in the information. His maternal grandfather was August Beisner. I am not sure how you go about making this correction, but I would like the record set straight to read: Harold August Frederici. Thank you
|Sally Jarvis||Lewis Ragsdale - Find A Grave Memorial# 107359711|
Can you tell me the source of the information on this memorial? I am doing some research for a descendant for an application to a lineage organization. I would love to use these dates, but I haven't been able to find a source. I was wondering if you had an obit or an estate file for Lewis Ragsdale. I am especially trying to connect him to his son Joel. I notice that is one of the families you are researching so I am hopeful that you may have information.
Thanks for all your work.

Thank you so much for entering the information on my great-grandparents' gravesites. I have been trying to get information on their dates of birth & death & locations for a long time. I can't thank you enough! This will help me with further genealogical searches.
