I live in northern VT near the Canadian border. My husband and I have a few sheep, a llama, bee hives, and a flock of guinea hens. I have a Maremma guard dog that keeps the bear, coyotes, and other predators from eating our livestock. I work as a nursing assistant. I spin my wool, knit, sew and weave. I sew on a treadle sewing machine.|

Lydia's brother, Edward Ross, was my grandfather, so Lydia was my great aunt. Edward married Anna Schulke and I notice that the Yankees are buried in a lot adjoining the Schulke lot. Maybe a coincidence, but I'm sure they all would have known each other. It's interesting to note that in the 1850 Census of Taymouth Township that there are only ten (10) families in the entire township, and that the Ross family was one of them. There are still many, many Ross family members in the Birch Run-Taymouth area.

Thank you for the photo of Frank Rowell's headstone. The other Rowell records you added to Indian Stream Cemetery, were they buried in the same plot as Frank and his wife, Martha? Again, thank you for the photos.
