I have only recently became interested in my family history and was told about Find A Grave. Since I don't live in the area where my parents or grandparents were buried I was excited to find I could look up where they are laid to rest. When I got online and realized I could help others find their relatives markers I started right away trying to fill some nearby requests. I agree with others that say they find it interesting to wonder what their story might be of people who have passed as I walk through a cemetery. The people I have filled the request for have been so appreciative of the pictures I have added.
