Bio and Links
Bio Photo If I have prepared a memorial for your immediate family member and you would like it transferred to you, please use the Suggest a Correction link located by clicking the Edit tab in the upper right hand corner of each memorial. In your message, please state your relationship to the deceased. I will consider distant family members, friends and totally unrelated people if you have something to contribute which I have not done already.

Also, if you find any errors I have made, please use the Suggest a Correction link. I appreciate people helping me fix my errors. Also please send any additional information you have (including Family Links) and I will add it to the memorial. Find A Grave gives 30 days to make changes, but I try to get it done quicker than that. If you don't hear back from me within 3 weeks, please feel free to ask again.

Thanks to all who flower any of the memorials which I created, but especially my parents.

I love Find A Grave and I especially enjoy adding photos to memorials so that family members can visit their family member's graves at anytime. However, I ask that you respect my efforts. Please, do NOT copy my photos to ancestry.com without giving me credit. Simply indicate 2006-2014 J.Sullivan on Find A Grave. I'd appreciate a note letting me know you have copied them. However, do NOT post them to other Find A Grave memorials. Just let me know and I will upload them. If you want to use them for commercial purposes or to create your own web site, that is not allowed under any circumstances. However, it is okay with me for you to post my photos of your friends and families headstones on Facebook as long as you link it back to the Find A Grave memorial. Please note that other members may have different opinions on this and you should honor their wishes. It is illegal to copy a photo without the photographer's consent.

Important admin notices posted in the forums:

Per Mark, the admin:

1. Location of body unknown should be used for recent deaths where the disposition is not currently known. You should however make every effort to locate the final disposition and update it as soon as possible.

2. See part 1. Not everyone in my direct family has been located and thus none of them are linked. I make notes in bios of those who have known locations. Such as "Son of X and Y" or "Also father of X". What I do is look for new listings and ask for updates when a generous member has finally found a missing relative.

3. No duplicates are allowed. Period.

This is Find A Grave and long-term unknown dispositions solely for the purpose of creating family links is outside the main intent of the website.

Per AJ, the admin:

Photograph the grave/gravesite "in-situ", or as it appears in that moment in time. The purpose is to show the grave as it is, be it dirty, cluttered, broken, or pristine. It is not your job to clean it, clear it, fix it, or decorate it. The graves are not yours to do as you please. Remember, one person's "good deed" just might be another person's vandalism. Go take lots of photos...but do it like an anthropologist and do not disturb the grave site.

Note for self, this is a link I might need to know how to make one day:

JOHN ROBERT WADE
HI !

THERE ARE NOT BIRTH RECORDS YET FOR THAT YEAR.

BUT ACCORDING TO THE 1921 CENSUS HIS PARENTS (FARMERS) & 4 SISTERS WERE LIVING IN SARNIA TOWNSHIP, LAMBTON WEST.

ACCORDING TO THE SARNIA HISTORICAL SOCIETY THIS ADDRESS WAS R.R. # 1, 6 th CONCESSION, SARNIA TOWNSHIP.

HE NEVER MARRIED, GREW UP IN SARNIA TOWNSHIP,
WORKED FOR ELECTRIC AUTO-LITE AS A PRESS OPERATOR BEFORE SIGNING UP WITH THE LANARK-RENFREW UNIT.

HOPE THAT HELPS !

Flossie Lee
Sorry I haven't checked my messages for 2 months! Am I understanding you that you needed the existing memorial stone picture for Flossie Lee? I just added it. Let me know if this is NOT what you were needing. Also are you needing something from Fairmount Indiana? Let me know. I'm probably 10 miles away. If you have any directions of the grave let me know. RE: Ira Castetter
Thanks for the info. I planned on seeing what I could through an on-line research perspective rather than spending time there by myself. It definitely is a frightening area. Took my husband there to see where his great-grandmother is buried, and he said not to go there again alone! Have found quite a bit of their missing info so far. And I did know about no cemetery office per se but that the records are currently with the Wayne Township Trustee. Sounds like that cemetery was abandoned in the past but brought back by some good people some time back. And the Indpls Star talked about grave robbers that hung out there and in the Central State cemetery so who knows who is really still there.
