Born 1971 in Rock Island, IL to Daniel Patrick Flynn and Sandi Kay (Taylor) Conklin. With Find A Grave, I have been able to combine two of my passions, Photography and Genealogy.I am the ggg Grandson of Terrence Flynn, born somewhere in Ireland, died in Adair MO.gg Grandson of John Edward Flynn, born in West Virginia, died in Adair MO.g Grandson of James Edward Flynn, born in Kirksville, MO, died in Rock Island, IL.Grandson of Edward Larry Flynn, born in Rock Island, IL, died in Rock Island, IL.Son of Daniel Patrick Flynn, born in Rock Island, IL.Father to Steven Michael Flynn, born in Rock Island, IL.My goal is to learn where in Ireland Terrence Fynn came from, where in Ireland are our roots?! I am open to any recommendations anyone has to offer. What I cant find right now is a death certificate or an obituary for Terrence. Any records pertaining to his children all reference Terrence as being from Ireland, nothing as to where in Ireland. My ggg Grandfather Terrence, his wife Mary (Farley) and my gg Grandfather John and his wife Bridget (Quinn) are buried in St Mary's Cemetery, Adair Co, Adair MO. I have photographed all the headstones in St Mary's Cemetery and working on getting them all uploaded to Find A Grave. I am also working with the MOAdair website coordinator to get all the images loaded on their website.Other names I am researching:Kish, Sheldon, Nutt/McNutt on my grandmothers side.Troesken, Bangert, Schluckebier on my grandfathers mothers side.Quinn, Daly, Farley, O'Brien....and many many more...I have added myself to the volunteer ph|

I believe you might have the wrong parents for GPL II.
Parley Laflin's legal name is "George Parley Laflin, II" but he was always called "Parley." He is the son of George Parley Laflin I (who was also called "Parley") and Mary Ann CLARK Laflin.
I do not have any record that the above Parley Laflin I was ever known as George Parley as I have found no records to verify that. Maybe you have something.
You have most of the children for Pearly and Mary Ann Clark who were all born in Charlton, MA. I find it rather unusual that GPL II is the only child born in NY. Do you have an birth record for his birth that I do not have?
Thanks in advance
Florence Laflin Collins

I will try to get a better picture. I didn't have an edger or shovel to remove all the soil and grass.

Sean, I noticed that your cemetery picture does NOT currently appear on pages for those buried in this cemetery - Salem Cemetery, Princeton, Scott Co., Iowa. Would you mind correcting this so it does appear on the memorials created. Thank you.

The flat stone next to Rosena Sweeney belongs to a John Halbert. I searched the entire area surrounding Rosena and there are no other marked Sweeneys.

There is too much snow at this time to view a ground Stone and with temperatures below 0 and single digits I don't see them melting very soon.

Thanks for the photo of Peter Holmes stone. He was a Revolutionary War Veteran. Kind of a belated "thank you for your service", but he deserves to be remembered.

Hi. I just created a memorial for Willard Arthur Heaton in West Truro Cemetery in Knox County, Illinois - ID# 164205584. His spouse is Delphine May Finley Heaton in the same cemetery and you have posted a grave marker photo to her memorial and I wondered if you would please add that same photo to Willard's memorial?
Or if you prefer, I would be glad to copy it and add it. I just would want your permission to do so first.
