To request a transfer or edit information please use the EDIT tab at the top right of the person's page, check the drop down menu for options. DO NOT USE THE PUBLIC MESSAGE BOARD TO MAKE THESE REQUESTS.

Please remember to include the memorial page number and your membership number when asking for information about an entry I have made. It makes it sooooo much easier for me to find the person you are asking about.

I do have photos of most all of the markers that I have transcribed from Canadian Cemeteries. So please ask. (Include memorial # in your request)

If you would like me to remove a memorial please let me know and I shall remove it right away - no questions asked.

Because of the few RUDE people demanding I transfer pages to them, I shall no longer make transfers unless you are polite AND can explain to me how the person is related to you.

However, as FaGer Scott wrote :- If there is any particular entry that I have made that is very important to you, related or not, if you sponsor their page I will transfer it to you ASAP. This helps Findagrave and shows me that this entry truly is important to you and that you are not simply trying to 'collect' all you can find of a particular surname.

Should you find that I have inadvertently duplicated an entry or photo please let me know, I will remedy the situation as soon as possible.

Please be respectful to families and allow them to have the funeral before you post information about the deceased.

Please do not add copyrighted information, photos that you did not take, photos of obituaries, death certs and any other scanned documents to any of the pages I have created. Only personal photos and grave photos should be posted in the photo section, Find a Grave will be notified and will be asked to remove other item(s).

Do not ask me to add info from census, others trees, cause of death, obituaries which include names of surviving family members or negative reports about their life and circumstances which are disrespectful. Bios should reflect the positive aspects of life. It is a memorial after all

To those "Advanced" Find A Gravers, I would appreciate if you are going to leave me a message then you would also be considerate enough to give me a way to reply to your message.

RE: Ruby Ingebory Selin
you transferred the Find A Grave memorial for Hilder Selin to my account. Thanks, I think
When I went to the link you provided in an email, In the family links section it asked that I report the memorial number for Hilder's parents.
Hilders Mother, Ann Kristina Johnson (Anna) in buried in the Friedham cemetery, near Wilhelmina cemetery. I could not find this cemetery in Find A Grave
I am willing to help in obtaining information from Friedham cemetery, with your assistance

THX Alison,
I'm afraid I don't have sufficient time to re-type obits, but if you do, I'd be more than happy to cut and paste them into the memorials.

My thinking is that people would be happy to have a bio (even one in upper case) if they are searching for someone.

It never ceases to amaze me, Alison, as to how quickly you locate what I am working on.

First off I just want to say thank you. Thank you so much for taking the picture of my great-grandfather's headstone. We never knew where he was buried or if he was even buried. My grandfather (his son) didn't even know. I will be visiting him later week and it is all because of you. I am extremely grateful, thank you.

Second off, it if it isn't to much to ask. I am wondering if Jules is a part of your family or someone requested the photo? Or was it just random. If it is possible to contact them I would be in your debt. The Claerhout family is elusive and gives me headaches trying to find them. Any help would be appreciated.

Either way, I am already a happy girl. Thank you again!

RE: Welcome to Find a Grave
Hi Alison,
This is all very new to me. A cousin has helped me get this far. Thank you very much for posting the photo of my grandparents' marker on Nov. 15, 2016. It was very timely as the cemetery people had told me there was no marker at their gravesite, and I was about to order one and have it placed. My cousin double-checked and found your photo, which allowed me, and the cemetery office, to avoid an awkward situation. Well done on your part!

You can have a go at the duplicate. If that doesn't work, let me know and I'll take a crack at it. You are right. There are living people mentioned. I know them.

It is 20 C here now and supposed to get to 23C. Trees are budding and flowers are blooming.

RE: Edith Potts
Hi again Alison
I know exactly what you mean. I came across several Ancestory Hints about one of my ancestors and they all had her date of birth 40 years before she died. I spent a whole evening reading through Census returns and working out parents, children, grandchildren to find that rather than dying in her 50's she was sharing a house in 1911 with her sister and she was 90 years old at the time of the census. I've messaged all the people in Ancestry who have hints for her and explained why the date of death is wrong ... I know it'll involve a lot of people having to tear up part of their tree but it's necessary to show the correct ancestors.
