Bio and Links
Bio Photo A link in the chain has been broken;
Your loved one has gone to rest.
But through your tear dimmed eyes you see,
That a loving God knows best.
And you must go on without her, and though your loss is great,
She will be there to meet you
At Heaven's Golden Gate.

By Marvel Bennett, written for my mother, Lois Goodman Skinner
=============================
A limb has fallen from the family tree.
I keep hearing a voice that says,
"Grieve not for me.
Remember the best times, the laughter, the song,
The good life I lived while I was strong.
Continue my heritage, I'm counting on you.
Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine thru.
My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest.
Remembering all, how I truly was blessed.
Continue traditions, no matter how small.
Go on with your life, don't worry about falls
I miss you dearly, so keep up your chin.
Until the day comes we're together again.

RE: Charles Shoemaker (AZ)
Charley wasn't buried -- he was cremated and his ashes scattered at high altitude over the AZ desert. His wife's father (Dr/Col Russell Leone) was born and raised in Fredonia, but as you know, he is buried at Arlington National Cemetery. Several of Dr. Leone's family members are buried in St. Anthony's cemetery in Fredonia: his parents (Frank and Bertha Latona Leone), his sister (Helen Batykefer), his brother and sister-in-law (Anthony and Catherine Leone), and his sister (Marie Molino). Charley's widow, Virginia (Ginny) is alive and well at 82 -- living in coastal NC. She remarried eight years after his death and is again a widow. If you'll send me the article, I'll create a F.A.G. record for Charley.

RE: Carol Sunderlin
Well, I just didn't want to take credit for a picture that you had taken.

Yes, Charley was my brother-in-law and I can provide a good bit of information. Send me an e-mail at s_whittington@bellsouth.net and I'll fill you in -- just too long for a public message.

Picture of gravestone
You added a picture of Lester H Sunderlin/Lynne Marie Sunderlin/Carol Mae Sunderlin's gravestone in the Calvary Cemetery in Salamanca NY. Carol Mae recently passed so I added a memorial for her. Could you please upload your gravestone photo on Carol's memorial?

RE: Margaret Confer
Never mind, I misspoke, as her parents simply do not agree with my tree or the info on the death cert.,I did not actually mean to suggest it effects my records or my tree in any way. I apologize for that.
