Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am now a ninety three year old mother, grandmother, gr-grandmother, and a gr-gr-grandmother. On my 80th birthday my grandkids were ask to share what they remember about grandma. Because I realized they didn't know much about their ancestors, I decided to write down what I remembered of the stories that were told to me as I was growing up. That lead me to contact the Sequoia Genealogical Society.

Volunteers taught me how to find more than 100 years of local family history from the Tulare City Libraries Genealogical Collection.

One volunteer, a retired school teacher taught me, fourth grade style, how to search the Internet on the computer. That year my daughter and grand children gave me a computer for Christmas, and I was off and flying and now I added Find a Grave to my activities.

I am now a self appointed family historian who has been doing research on my own extended family, and that of my friends,

Seen on another contributor's profile. I couldn't agree more.

We are the chosen. In each family, there is one who seems called to find the ancestors. To put flesh on their bones and make them live again, to tell the family story and to feel that somehow they know and approve. Doing genealogy is not a cold gathering of facts, but instead, breathing life into all who have gone before. We are the storytellers of the tribe.

When you visit one of my memorials please leave a flower. I appreciate it when you say what relation, if any, to a person.

Because of my age I would like to transfer some of my memorials. For many of them, I am not a direct descendant, and I prefer to transfer to direct descendants. There are a few occasions where I will make an exception. I will not make any transfers unless you leave a flower and a note.

RE: John & Elizabetta Lancione
I am so sorry. I sent the message to you thinking you were the originator of the pages but you are the person who requested the photos.
I have fixed it. My apologies.

RE: John & Elizabetta Lancione
I checked with somebody else who I had sent "other corrections or additions" and she had not recieved them either.
On John & Elizabetta, I found their death certificates which show they are not buried at UnIon Cemetery. They are buried (also according to FindAGrave) at Greenwood-Rose Hill Cemetery in Bellaire which is in Belmont County Ohio.
A FIndAGrave page has previous to yours been created for each of them but with less details attached. I would suggest you contact the creator of those pages and work out how to get the pages more complete.
The memorail page numbers are 153132977 & 153133025.
Someone else had requested a photo of their grave and I got involved when I attempted to fulfill the photo request.
I have copies of the death certificates if you would want them. I can send them via email.
Thank you

I left you an edit request message about the Lanciones. It concerns where they are buried.
Please let me know if you have any questions after reading the edit request.

The wrong photo on William Hawkins page
Hi Audrey, Someone uploaded the original photo on William Hawkins memorial page. Here's the url

The original shows that the photo you uploaded is not a photo of William Hawkins. Could you take a look? I think the photo you uploaded probably needs to be deleted.

Hester Overstreet-Clinton OKlahoma
Hi Audrey,
I received your corrections for Hester and will make them as soon as I send this.
I am very curious now about Hester and if she is any relation to you? My great grandmother was a Overstreet and she was also from Newton County Mississippi. So now I'm wondering if Hester was any relation to my grandmother Lillie. Her name was Lillie Mae Overstreet. She is buried in the Port Cemetery, Washita County Oklahoma.
I have family in Clinton and used to visit a lot more than I have recently and of course would love spending time in the Cemetery taking pictures that were requested on Find A Grave. I would also take pictures of stones/markers if they interested me, as did Hester's because of course the last name Overstreet.
I would love to hear back from you. Staci
