A poem I came across, perfect for us, cemetery walkers;|
"Your tombstone stands among the rest; neglected and alone. The name and date are chiseled out on polished, marbled stone. It reaches out to all who care, it is too late to mourn. You did not know that I exist, you died and I was born. Yet each of us are cells of you in flesh, in blood, in bone. Our blood contracts and beats a pulse entirely not our own. Dear Ancestor, the place you filled so many years ago, spreads out among the ones you left. who would have loved you so. I wonder if you lived and loved, I wonder if you knew, that someday I would find this spot, and come to visit you.

I found the headstone for Percy W Baker. It appears he was married to Ada A (Baker). They had 3 children listed on the headstone: Ada C, an infant daughter and an infant son. Also on the headstone was Nancy Collins. This cannot be Percy's wife since she died at 10 - 11 years of age. Perhaps her mother was a Baker who married a Collins? This would mean you would have to change her Family Name to Collins. There is a Margaret Jane Baker Graham buried here as well, probably another daughter of Percy & Ada.

Sorry, No I do not have records for the cemetery. I call the office for the grave locations and add the locations to the requests. They are very happy to help family members locate graves. Please feel free to call them Grand Lawn Cemetery 313-531-2050

While doing your edits, I found a couple newspaper obits to add, too. Archie & Ethel. Ethel had an infant that died when she did...IDK name or sex.
