Wishing everyone a great 2017!!!|
SO many new friends, family, cuzins I have met over the years here on FAG. I wish them all well and its so wonderful to meet new family along our path.
Hi! Welcome to my little part of the world at Life in the Past Lane. http://KyUSA.addr.com [Online 10 years but offline for now]
Honoring the past generations, helping families to find their ancestors and finding out how many of us all have a connection and many more cuzins than we ever dreamed. Finding our ancestors and walking through the lands of times past.
I only work on genealogy on days ending in "Y" ©
For the cuzins I have met previously "Hi" and for the new cuzins I hope to meet "HI" to you to.
We have many many paths to walk that our ancestors walked, and our time here is in honor to them.
I leave "Daisys" on all family members that are in my data and lines [direct and extended].
I leave other flowers for memorials I have help link up and/or helped someone else with.
Other flowers also can mean I havent located or logged them in my data . We all have ALOT of branches and trees to climb and exp
I just love it when you go to update your profile..hit save and your profile is 1/2 missing..pooofers...nada...rewrite from memory what you had up for years..Yeah , I'll get right on that..LOL
adding again 4/2017 :::UPDATE: 11-3-2016
All my memorials I make are for family. They are done our of care, love, and family. Names and linking are done for cherishing the family lines and to help others in years to come to locate their family.
If you send me an edit . Please send information I don't have or that can help validate or fix an error. I/WE all so appreciate that .
If you send me an edit that is to remove information, that I have worked hours in researching , I will ignore edit reply it!!! I will decline and dont try sneaking it in again with another huge batch ..[unless you are family that wishes it done] I just got TONS of name fixing requests in my edit. I have better use of my time , than to reply to each edit with a reason WHY .. Anyways. If you don't sign the flowers and are family with a reason to remove something. DONT edit /email me. I have been doing this to many years to find nit-picking to be useful and our ancestors have much history to share and memorials carry many names, stories and history. and WE are just the paths through time , now attempting to share it.
almost...AND if you don't have a main page talking ability NOR an email . You think your going to be able to discuss things??
FAG has said they will be updating marriage boxes [until then , all names will go married box ..I will fix the ones I have posted in maiden name box] and they are MAKING all people who dont have ability to post on their main pages to talk NOR an email [or contact them], fix that to. I will be very happy to converse with anyone, but don't teach/talk AT me , as I don't do it others. Play nice in the sandbox folks.
Our paths all cross and our pasts are all the same. Unknowns and paths among the trees and branches to find our way.
Welcome to my Life in the Past Lane !!

|Ryan ||William Thomas Taylor!|
Recently discovered (with your help) that William Taylor is my Greatx3 Grandfather. He was the father to Flora, who became the mother of my Grampa (Paul), who was a WWII vet from Ohio. I have became rather eager to know more about William, I was wondering if you had more information about him, or help me understand his role in the Civil War. I appreciate what youve done, I am grateful!

Hi - I have sent an edit/tab requesting that the birth and death dates be reversed. He was born in 1866, not died in 1966 as the DC says. I am also linking his parents, so their birth/death dates will indicate the 1866 birth timeframe. Thanks very much for your work! Merideth

Could you possibly tell me how to find this cemetery in Floyd County? I have relatives buried in here and would like to be able to find this cemetery.
|Pamela Suhre||Thomas Pasmere Carpenter|
Victoria please help. I belong to geni.com they have a big deal there that Thomas Pasmere Carpenter never existed. He was my grandfather. I have done lots of research but they removed him from everyone's lineage. There is a public discussion under Moytoy I I was hoping you might join in membership is free if you don't join their pro group. I can't afford anything like that can you please help? Thankyou so much Pam

Thanks for the link. I didn't think of the OCHS as I've used it before. Plan a road trip tomorrow to Morgan Co. Want to take some pics at the Kennard Cem there.
|don vasko||Jonathan Hartsock|
It's been awhile since I've talked to you. I need some help. A couple of weeks ago I re-visited the John Hartsock Cem which I created in 2013. Trying to figure out the relationship of Eva Turner 177703897 to Jonathan Hartsock 112783149. The 1930 census has Jonathan & Eva Hartsock. The 1940 census has Jon, daughter, Eva Neeley with her husband, Tommy. Trying to figure the relation of this Eva Turner to Jonathan. The stones were side by side along with Chester Turner. I'll contact Audrey Russell (a distant cousin) also. Thanks.

Hello out there. I surveyed the Charity Cemetery in Wythe County last month. I found the marker for Frank McGrady 52477721 and Beulah Payne 54182332 in that cemetery.
The location of the cemetery is:
I do not believe there is a Charity Cemetery in Pulaski County.
The Lat and Lon listed for the Charity Cemetery in Wythe county is way off. The coordinates listed above are correct.
In any case Frank and Beulah are in the Charity Cemetery above the Charity Church in Wythe County.
Best Regards from us here in the Old Dominion. -A

Thank you so very much. I know his sister is buried there. Sometimes I get confused on the Allen lines. Such a common name. Thank you again. Debra.
