I am in Michigan. I am not related to 99.999% of my entries, but have added them with the hope that other researchers who have come to a dead end may be helped. With respect to those entries, I have no other information available as I have tried to include as much info as I have.
PROCEDURES FOR LINKS, ADDING OR CHANGING INFO, TRANSFERS:
Please do not be offended, but for a number of reasons, including the volume of requests, I transfer memorials in accordance with Find A Grave's published guidelines. If you request a transfer, please be sure to include your relationship to the person who is the subject of the memorial. I cannot respond to transfer requests for all memorials with the same surname in a cemetery or to requests for a large number of memorials with the same surname.
If there are entries which need to be linked, please send the info to me via the correction/EDIT option or Suggest a Change (SAC) in the upper right corner and I will add the links. Also, if you would like me to add information to a memorial, please forward the relevant info via the SAC option for the quickest response.
If there is information in a memorial concerning a living person which you would like removed, please send me a request via the SAC option.
PLEASE DO NOT send transfer requests, relationship links or additional information for memorials via the public messages option. I do not make changes sent to my profile page. PLEASE USE THE EDIT TAB LOCATED IN THE UPPER RIGHT CORNER OF THE MEMORIAL.
OBITUARIES: Find A Grave has updated its policy concerning the use of obituaries in memorials (See: "Can I add an obituary to my interment listing?" under the Frequently Asked Questions section). If you send a request asking that an obituary be added, please be sure to confirm in your message that you have complied with the policy or I will not be able to add it.
Generally, I do not link to unknown burials. Nor do I add raw US Census or similar records, preferring instead to add information in sentences.
Many thanks for the kind notes, thank yous, flowers and tokens which are left on the memorials. It is rewarding to know that my work has helped someone.

|Diana Ayers||Rachel Taylor|
I am still working on the Royce family and now I found the marriage of Rachel Z. Taylor to Calvin C. Royce on Sept 13, 1848, Wayne County, MI. She was 18 and Calvin was 33 years of age. Calvin died on Aug 27, 1852 in Detroit, Wayne, MI. There is a probated will on line and it lists two daughters Martha and Sarah. The 1850 census lists Calvin born in VT and Rachel in Penn. You can also see the marriage record online. I am bringing this up because you have a listing for Rachel Zalley Taylor and no listing of her first husband, Calvin. You also have a death date and age 55. Is there a photo of the gravemarker that gives this information?
Since her age is listed in 1848 as 18, she was born in 1830 which is also verified in the census. Please check my research and make an addition of Rachael's birth and also Calvin as the father of Martha. You can link Rachel to the memorial on Find A Grave for Calvin 79605499 which you also created. If this is a virtual listing for Rachael I would like to know where this information came from that is listed. If I find more information on this family I will forward.
Thank you for helping me with my family.
|Mary Bobbitt Richardson||Memorial# 58831890|
Regarding Fanny Wilson Parker: Her maiden name was ALLISON. I know of no connection to a WILSON. She was born about 1800 in Ireland. Migrated with her parents and siblings to Wigtownshire, Scotland, where she met and married Isaac PARKER. He was first married to my 4g-aunt, so I've studied the family extensively.
|Shirley Reeve||James Mancour 1908-1980|
You created a memorial for James Mancour at Perry McFarlen Cemetery in Grand Blanc. I have confirmed that he is buried at Evergreen in Grand Blanc. You may wish to remove this memorial.
|Diana Ayers||Mary Gregory Royce Cady|
I just found the info that solves the Royce mystery. The 1860 census for the Town of Sterling, Macomb, MI has Sylvanus Royce age 44 and Mary age 39, Clayton age 14 and Solomon Gregory age 79. Sylvanus has been spelled Silvenus, Sylvenus, Silvanus. His brother Sylvester married Mary Jones on Oct 5, 1837 in Oakland County, MI. Could you please change the name you have written as Mary's first husband from Sylvester to Silvenus? Silvenus and Sylvester Royce are twins and were constantly confused. Thank you.
|William Porter||RE: Helen G Zulick|
The source of my information was the "Observer-Reporter" newspaper, Washington, Washington County, Pennsylvania, Monday, October 1, 1973. The first paragraph of her obituary is as follows: "Mrs. Helen G. Zulick, 50, of 577 Locust Avenue Washington, died at noon Sunday, September 30, 1973 in Washington Hospital." Her funeral notice in that addition of the newspaper also indicates she died on Sunday, September 30.
I did not see any correction in the following days's edition, so I made the assumption that the 30th was the correct date.
|Diana Ayers||Mary Jane Gregory Cady|
I can't find a marriage record for Sylvester Royce and Mary Jane Gregory. I have seen the death certificate of Clayton, but I also have the marriage record of Sylvester Royce and Mary J. Jones in Oakland County, MI, Oct. 5, 1837. The 1850 US census shows their following children: Sylvia A. 1839, Polly M. 1841, Louisa E. 1844 and Augusta D. 1850. Was Clayton born out of wedlock since a marriage record and a census can't seem to verify the information in Mary Jane Gregory Cady's memorial? The will and probate for Sylvester also doesn't list Clayton as his child.
Please provide documentation.
Thank you. Diana

|Patty Lane||Lakeview Cemetery Calumet MI|
Hello! I was recently in Calumet and took some photos while visiting family burials. One of the photos I took was of grave for Rudolph & Ellen Spehar. I searched before adding the records and found your records for them but the dates don't match for Rudolph. I do not know this family so have no way to know if they are the same as your listing but assume she is as hers match. I did not record the plot as it's difficult to find the office there open. I believe the marker to be in A2.
I am wondering if I should go head and add the photos to your record? Often dates are incorrect but I just wasn't sure and wanted to ask you. The dates for Rudolph are 1910-1988 - no military markers- they are on a shared stone.
Please advise- thanks!
