Bio and Links
Bio Photo Corrections/transfers/linking will only be made through the edit tab on the memorial.

You can add photos and suggest corrections without having to request management. Simply having someone in your family tree is not a reason for a management transfer request.

I try to verify the accuracy of requested corrections and links before making them. Sometimes I may ask for your information source.

If I have questions/concerns about your correction and have no way to contact you, the correction will not be made. 41286
Social Security Death zip codes are not the place of death. They are usually the zip code of last residence. A zip code for a town may cover rural areas around a town and areas of other counties.

The town of Norcatur, KS is 100% in Decatur County. Norcatur Cemetery is 100% in Norton County. The Norcatur zip code 67653 includes several townships in Decatur County and part of Center-District 1 Township in Norton County.

Infant Roe
I am curious about this memorial for Infant Roe.
Find A Grave Memorial# 40843541
This child is connected to Francis and Cathrine Roe. I know from some records they, in fact, had a child die before 1900 but I am wondering how you know this child belongs to them.

Please know that I am not questioning you I am just trying to find out more about this child and I have not been successful in finding any vital records for this child.

Does this cemetery have any records verifying who this child belongs to?? Was it a boy or a girl. I am so curious.
Thanks for your time.

Charles Robert Nelson #172571941
Hello - We have a problem on find-a-grave with 53 memorial pages that are listed under a cemetery that does not exist. Cape Girardeau City Cemetery. This was brought to my attention by a fellow volunteer and we are trying to correct this error. The city cemetery office stated we do have 3 city cemeteries: Fairmount,New Lorimier and Old Lorimier but none listed as just City Cemetery. I have volunteered to send messages to those people who created these. I have tried to find Charles Robert Nelson listed in these 3 cemeteries, but cannot find him. There is a death certificate (missouri digital heritage website) that states he is buried in Fairmount. So I will send an edit asking you to check this out and move him to Fairmount even though he is not on their list. Thank you so much. Ruth Smith

I would like to pick up your photo request but Sparkman Hillcrest (SH) does not like to provide burial locations to volunteers, citing privacy issues. Your cooperation is needed in order for requests to be filled. The volunteers will need you to call SH and request the location. Their phone number is 214-363-5401. Once you have the location, please add it to your request. Thanks.

RE: Transfers
Greenly, Thank you for your offer but will pass for the following reasons. Most of our teams work is pre-1880 with much our 35 years of research extending back to the original family's immigration. The numbers just get too large if we don't stop somewhere. We appreciate your offer and I am sure a direct family member will come along as ask for their transfer.

Let us thank you for the find work and your contribution to Find-a-Grave. Your efforts are most appreciated. Bill Neff

RE: Death Certificate Images
Thanks for the update - I did remove the death certs, per your request. Unfortunately there are no markers for said individuals. I am pleased to let you know that we have been able to make great headway in keeping this burial ground cleared & maintained. Alfred Greenlee had told me many interesting stories of his life here in Jonesborough - I truly miss him - are you kin to him? Gordon

RE: Alexanders in Norcatur Cemeery
Not that I'm aware of. Alexander is my husband's side of the family and he has/had family in Kansas but in Wichita.
