Old Lively Cemetery
The Old Lively Cemetery is on the farm where my Grandmother, Leah Lively Curle, was born, and several family members are buried there. There are also Bybee's buried there which is my husbands name. We cannot link him to this line, but I would be interested to know the connection. Any information on the Bybees would be appreciated. I have, and have made some progress.
Thank you,
Peggy Bybee

I claimed you photo request, but may not be able to fulfill it. There may not be any information out there to assist us. Are you familiar with the site "Names In Stone"? That is where Hooper City Office has referred me. There are no Whiteheads listed on it in the Hooper Cemetery. I will need to stop by the office and see if they can tell me anything more. Do you have any other family names of who they may be buried next to. I checked the children listed with Ann and could not find anything.
Also, I have been told there are some old records somewhere. I am hoping I have discover and "in" to seeing them. Also, an older gentleman has offered to help me. His health is not good and he does not do well in the heat. My summer schedule has become quite busy, which has limited my cemetery time. I am still doing research on line though. Hoping to be able to do more at the cemetery in the fall.

RE: Photos for Mary Ellsworth Raymond
I have never had to take responsibility for a Find A Grave site, only recently contributing photos as my mother is still alive at 100yrs 6 months and am trying to distribute her photos and documents to appropriate places. How and what are my responsibilities to assuming the site? Where would i go to find out? Thanks, Cheryl L. Strain Tuning

Pleasant Bybee
Mr. Fowers,

Can you please share your "sources" who indicated that Pleasant Bybee was buried on Route 633 in Troy VA. We recently visited the area and know that he is not buried in any of the church cemeteries, but we were unable to locate the grave site. Any info you can provide would be most helpful as we continue our search through contacts that we made while in Fluvanna County. Thanks, Stacey Bybee

RE: Hooper Cemetery Updates
Yes, I am adding them as I find them. I have found some that are not on the Hooper City records. There are some on their records I have not found yet. I am trying to compair the two and make notes on the differences. Just yesterday I made a bit of headway with the city office. I think they may give me a more complete record to compair with.

I have not found Mrs. Whitehead. I will let you know if I do. A found a family of eight that were not recorded. The McGregor family, early pioneers. The Garners descend from that line. Eight of their ten children died young. I am still working on completing their memorials.

RE: Hooper Cemetery Updates
Thank you. I just live a few blocks from the cemetery. I am spending a few hours there 2 to 3 days a week. I have found several graves that have not been recorded on findagave. Some of them are very old. I am enjoying this project.
