Bio and Links
Bio Photo Happily unattached, traveling nurse anesthetist with a passion for genealogy, outdoors, and photography. I enjoy recording and sharing cemeteries I find in my travels with people on FAG. I am not related to most of my memorials; please let me know if I can transfer a relative of yours to you. I enjoy doing photo requests and try to take a few extra pictures while I am there. I try to prepare the stone for a nice picture but don't always have my tools with me (the airlines frown on gardening tools in luggage!) to trim grass, wash bird droppings, etc. Please let me know if I've made some typos and I will correct ASAP. Also, please let me know if you get a better photo and I will delete mine. I'll be always grateful to one of my high school English teachers, Marjory Sharp, Find A Grave Memorial# 117584719, for assigning a four generation pedigree chart and to my great grandmother, Eva Alta Jackson Yeokum, Find A Grave Memorial #20165966, who lived next door and helped me fill it out the night before it was due!

James Broyles
Hi, I would like to know how I would be able to get a picture of a grave. My grandfather James Broyles died 6-14-1919 in the state hospital near Nevada, he had tuberculosis. The James Broyles in the Blackjack cemetery has no information but I feel this could be him since it's so close to where he died. I live in California. I tried to find a contact for this cemetery but couldn't find one. I would appreciate any help you can give me. I am on ancestry and have been searching for a long time. I finally found him in the State hospital. Thank you again Sue Broyles Moreland.

FAG # 22396657
Find A Grave # 22396657 .. You were kind enough to add a picture to this..But there is some incorrect information on his marker....Would you please be kind enough to go to your picture, and add this as a "caption"...many thanks...

*******************

This is a modern gravestone. The grave stone is incorrect in stating that Lane belonged to the Georgia Militia, it should read “North Carolina Militia.”

Henry Family
You have a Find A Grave site on Robert Thomas Henry. He is the brother of William Jones Henry, my 2nd GGfather. Do you have any info on Robert's life, what he did, who he married, etc? I have another person who is related to Robert who is asking. I don't have any information on Robert.

thank you!

RE: John Schneider in Blackjack
Vada Buell is buried in BlackJack Cemetery also. I think she is next to Grandpa - Herbert Schneider - and Icy Mae is on the other side.

RE: John Schneider in Blackjack
Herbert Elbert Schneider was married to Vada Buell Brown and they had 5 children. John Elbert, Vada Dortha Schneider (my Mom), Leonard and Eleanora Schneider Darrow and a baby that died young. Vada Buell died when my Mom was 10. Grandpa - Herbert Elbert - remarried Icy Mae Large and they had 5 children.

Hope this helps. If not please contact me.
Thanks,
Nena

RE: Martha Sears
I believe you are correct. I've sent an email to the person who has maintained the Highland Park site.

Several of the Sears children are also buried in Mt. Olive, so that would make sense.

Thanks for the reply.
