|Family history is important to me, and I have been involved in genealogy for over 30 years. I gather, compile, and maintain info for the following families which is a work in progress. |
My family lines: Cribb, Luke, Register, Creed, Alderman, Newton, Carter, Connell, Lee, Wilson, Brewer, Smith. Ancestry.com public family tree files: "Luke and Allied Lines" and "Cribb Cribbs".
1st husband lines: Tripp, Castleberry, McCranie, Akins, Moore, Powell, Livingstone, May, Beasley, Purvis, Giddens. Ancestry.com public family tree file: "Tripp Castleberry"
2nd husband lines: Hayes, Braziel, Alderman, Hiers, Kinard, Baker, Mobley, Jernigan, and allied lines. Ancestry.com public family tree files: "Annis in Name Only".
My Ancestry.com "Connection Collection" is a combined file of my files, 1st husband, 2nd husband, allied lines, and some non-related families. It contains approximately 40,000 names.
I am a charter member of the Cook County Historical Society, and I have taken on the project of ensuring that memorials for Cook Co cemetery interments are posted on Find A Grave. In addition, family links and other researched info will be added. My Ancestry.com file for this research is "Find A Grave Research" and "Connections Collection." A special thank you to Find A Grave surveyor and photographer, Cat, who has worked closely with me on this project.
Linking family members is my objective and my contribution to the citizens of Cook Co, GA. I encourage others to add any known links as this is not an ownership project.
Please credit Find A Grave for any information you find useful. I will transfer memorials of your relatives, but please include your Find A Grave member number with your request.
We honor our ancestors by remembering them.

|Charlene Zeigler Taylor||RE: Non-related question|
Hi Judy! Alice Zeigler, is my nanny (my dads mom). She is indeed in the nursing home. I'm not sure what the question is - it's late & my mind isn't wanting to focus! But, my nanny is Alice Zeigler & her spouse was Ezra Lee Zeigler (Memorial# 8504028).
Now, the only Missouria Zeigler that is coming to mind is Missoura Register Zeigler (Memorial# 28743379), who was the second wife of Jacob Aaron Zeigler (Memorial# 28743146), but she passed away the year I was born. So, it may be another Missouria that you're asking about? But, this Jacob Aaron Zeigler was the father of Herbert Ezra Zeigler, who was the father of Ezra Lee Zeigler, spouse of Alice Zeigler.
Does this help at all?
Also, I was browsing memorials the other night & saw a note you had posted on someones page. (I think it was you?) You commented that Folks Huxford was related through the Register line? Is that right? I was so excited to hear that! I've been meaning to send you a message to ask & just haven't had time until now. That would be so cool if he is! Thanks so much for all your work on here. If there is anything else I can help with, let me know. Hope you have a blessed day!
I finished reviewing the indigent pension applications for him and updated his memorial. You'll be getting two "Decline" notices, because I made them before remembering to go back to the edit folder.... some days are like that!
Thanks again for cluing me in regarding the pension application(s).

Thank You, Judy :). I'll look through them when I get a chance, and will submit a transfer request, as needed. Unless, I t's easier for to transfer all of them to me? If so, my Member # is 48405711.
I truly appreciate that you have volunteered your time to manage these Memorials :).
Please let me know how you'd like to proceed with transfers.
With much gratitude,

Thank you so much for the information about him. I had a hard time trying to find him. Now I know why. I looked up his military records and typed it down on his memorial and added he's father & mother's information. Thank you again.
