Bio and Links
I am a retired mechanical-optical engineer. I continue to do occasional work as a consultant primarily in patent writing and searching. I play in a dixieland band. I live in the country in a house built in 1850, so FindAGrave gives me an excuse to live in the past. If persons requesting photographs would share what they know about the people whose graves were requested, I will dig deeper in the area to find other information of interest to them.

RE: George Abel Taylor Grave
Fyi, I already took May's photo. If your picture turns out better add it and I'll remove mine.

RE: George Abel Taylor Grave
Hi Roy
I don't remember the circumstances of this photo shoot but I usually look up the people I'm looking for in the Monroe County Cemetery Records -

Very often there are others in the family so I take their picture as well. Other times I find a family member next to or near the one I'm looking for.

I just looked up Andrew West and he is there, lot 406, his plot was bought by Wm Borroughs.

There are a lot of Taylor's at Oakwood

Thank you....for your time and the photos. Evelyn is my fathers sister. I moved to Tx. before I could take them myself.
Your friend in the cemetery,

Seeley Finch of Wheatland
WOW Roy, THAT Photo tells more about this particular Seeley Finch than I could have ever hoped for! Thanks for making the trips, deciphering the map, and finding the grave.
