Please note that your Findagrave memorial 60362242 is the same as Find A Grave Memorial# 136173125 in the same cemetery; although, yours is the older memorial.

Cemetery
Can you tell me if the Old IOOF Cemetery is the same as the Graves-Gentry Cemetery? Both are in Hamilton County, TX. Billion Graves Index has Mary Elliff, listed in Graves-Gentry Cemetery, but find a grave (#42128702) has her listed in the Old IOOF Cemetery. Thanks a million.

Tom
Warenskjold's
I have a photo of Ophelia Warenskjold's grave with 5 children stones located in front of hers in the Howard Cemetery, Hamilton, Texas.

Would you or can you suggest who might take photos of each of the children's headstones so I can post them in our family tree.? I cannot read or ID their stones now.

Appreciate your help,

Tom Kinnard

I accidently sent a link request for Velma Lee Carter (43225558) to her brother as her spouse. Please ignore and link her to her parents (11733019, 11733019)

memorial# 20119228
I am trying to find out how to get memorial #20119228, Edna Celey Register Sharp listed as one of the children of Archibald Register & Frances Womack Register (memorials # 54655702 & 5465706. They are listed as her parents on her memorial, but she is not listed as one of their children. According to the Hamilton County History book, she was one of their children.
Thanks for your help,
Sharee

Edward H Ward
I assume you are related to Edward H Ward Choctaw AL? I wanted to let you know that there is a photo of a "E Ward" as a Lt in the 40th Alabama Infantry for sale on Ebay. The photo is of Ward in his Confederate uniform. I ran across it while browsing images and checked Find A Grave to see if I could locate more info about him.

Here is a link to the auction http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lieutenant-40th-Alabama-POW-Army-of-Mobile-/291785053595?hash=item43efbe959b:g:2f0AAOSwnNBXVjiQ

It is a buy it now for a large sum but I thought you might be interested to see it. On the reverse is inscribed to "Miss Mollie Noble, Compliments E Ward."

I cant say for sure that it is your Edward H Ward, but the seller claims it is. I know Edward H Ward was a 2d Lt in the 40th AL, captured at Vicksburg and sent to Johnsons Island prison where he was held until 6/11, 1865 when he pledged the oath and was released. Described as dark Complexion Hair Black 5'10" Age 27 from Choctaw AL enlisted 1962.

The image is of a Confederate Lieut with dark hair who looks to be about the right age and the inscription above is penned on the reverse.

Please let me know you have received the message.

Sincerely,
Laura

A. A. Pruitt
44342677-A. A. Pruitt, I was told by Hamilton Co Tx relatives that this grave was Amanda Alice Pruitt, but after much research the dates just don't add up. ancestry.com had submitted an error. This grave actually belongs to Alvie Addison Pruitt, 7/27/1871 Texas, 8/8/1935 Texas parents-Trose Perry Pruitt, Mary Catherine Jones, wife Mary Jane Wilson., his reported death was in Coryell, Texas-sorry for the confusion
