|Bio and Links|
I live in Indianapolis, IN but was raised in southern Indiana. Cemeteries have been great tools in finding our ancestors. I love the Find A Grave site and have found many missing links here. |
I try to take photos of older graves knowing that they are often destroyed by either the elements or sadly, vandalism. As I photograph graves, I always try to remember the life of the person buried there. If I have a memorial to your ancestor, please contact me for a transfer. I'll gladly do that even if they are a distant relative as I know how important each name is in our own family trees.
I live close to Crown Hill cemetery and can take grave photos when I am able to get the time to get out. You can reach me at:

|Cheryl Ayres||Re: Corrections|
I think I got them all. Let me know if I didn't. Boy, donfusing when they put names on gravestones in one cemetery but buried in another. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
Thank you for the correction. I appreciate it.

You added a photo of the headstone for the above subject memorial. Can you add the same photo to the following memorial for the same person:
Created by: Debbie Howes
Record added: May 03, 2009
Find A Grave Memorial# 36664562
The headstone photo on 36664562 is not near as clear as the one you added to 89240969.
If you can do this, it would be greatly appreciated and afterwards I can ask for memorial #89240969 (added 28 Apr 2012) be taken down.

|Janice Lapp||RE: Phillips Graves|
You're Welcome.....I figured since you had the same last name, they were all relatives of yours !!
|Names in Stone||Tacy Phillips|
I have transferred Tacy to you.
And by the way, it states right on the rejection why and what I would like to have.
Please check the message, if you do not see it there, please contact fIND a GRAVE because I fill out the comment each time I reject.
As for having an email to send to, in the past people have been very insulting and I no longer wish to deal with the like.
I have over 90,000 memorials to manage, I deal with a minimum 60 requests daily.
I am trying to keep the memorials as accurate as possible.
|MrsB||James William Elias Owens birth place|
Thank you for sending the edits as to him, his birth place and his parents. As I was looking on the National Archives, I found the man I think was him, and married to Sarah, and farming in Iowa, but he was born in Illinois to a father born in Tennessee (1880 Census). Then there was another James Willis Owens of about the same birth year and age, also married to a Sarah, who is buried in another cemetery entirely (in North Carolina, not Iowa). I look forward to hearing from you, to be sure we have the right man.

Glad to have created the pages for your family. That is why I do what I do on Find A Grave.
If you are a relative, I would be happy to transfer her page to you. Please use the request to transfer.
