We respectfully request permission to use the cemetery entrance sign photo in our online tree. Marie has a distant cousin interred there and the photo will make a great addition.
Thanks for your consideration.

|Patricia Salazar||Hayes Family|
John Hays passed your name off as someone researching my side of the Hayes family. My great grandfather was Granville Hayes. David Hays was his father and his first wifes last name was Linville. Granville named his children Francez, Caroline, (my grandmother) and Linville, a boy. I really am just starting out on this genealogical journey and i'm from San Diego so i was quite surprised to see all of my ancestors that i knew nothing about buried an hour away! I am looking forward to learning more and will pass any information i receive along! I look forward to connecting with you at some point soon!
Hi Pam, I am a great-great-great granddaughter of Moses Doty, the father of Andrew Jackson Doty through Andrew's sister Nancy Terrance Doty who married Zachariah Warren in Jackson County, Missouri. Moses lived with her in the 1850 census. It was neat seeing Andrew's picture, I have one of Nancy. Her son William Andrew Warren looks a lot like his uncle Andrew Jackson Doty. It is so interesting that they ran a resort in the mountains. Do you know any stories about them going to California - when and why? Did they go straight from Illinois or did they ever live in Missouri? I'm particularly trying to find out about Moses Doty's death by murder in 1863 - during the Civil War. Do you have any family stories passed down about that. Or about the part of the family that went to Argentina?

|Cindy Englan Wentz||RE: Related Kantola's|
Hi Pam. I've found out a lot since I last contacted you, but most is not in my virtual cemetery. Per official parish records, my Kantola's are from Pyhajoki. Their name is often listed Wäärälä Kantola or Väärälä Kantola. Other times, it's just plain "Kantola". Some moved to Raahe and Vihanti. Two sisters are buried together in Rovaniemi. Only 3-4 of the 11 siblings immigrated to America. Most stayed in Finland.
Another cousin-by-marriage and findagrave contributor, Janine Pellman-Seis who's been helping me, mentioned her dad's side is from Kortesjärvi, too. Oh and you were looking for Johannes Kantola in MN? Could this be him? 101880780 He's linked as husband to one of your relatives (Elizabeth "Lisi, Lizzie" Mattila Kantola).

Would you please see if your cemetery gate photo is added to his individual page, and remove it, or if it is the default photo that comes up? I don't seem to have the option of not showing it, and I need the space to add photos of the individual.
Thanks so much.

Howdy Pam. I emailed you at your stumpedfinn email addy on 8/16/15 but I never heard back. I was wondering if we might be related as my g-grandfather was a Kantola too. I'd love to hear from you and compare notes!
|The Locator||Richman Memorials|
This is a heads up on two memorials that you have created. Josephine Richman, memorial #46446587 and Minni Richman, memorial #46446665. You have them listed (in the Bio) that they are buried in the Sheridan Cemetery, but on the memorials the cemetery is Brooklyn Memorial. They are buried in the Sheridan cemetery and a memorial is already created for them. These two memorial that you have created need to be deleted.
|The Locator||FAG Corrections|
There is a new way to add info to memorials. I enter the info and it is sent to you. If you go to your home page there is an EDIT tab (close to the top middle of the page) and it will have #'s (5) listed on it. This means that you have five memorials that contributors have sent you additional info on a memorial. Click on this tab. Each memorial is listed with the info to be added. You can ACCEPT, DECLINE or IGNORE the correction. Go to the bottom of the page and there is a TAB that says PROCESS SELECTED EDITS and click it. It will automatically correct the info on the ones that you have accepted. This way you do not have to do any of the entering of the info the contributor has sent you on each memorial. Have Fun and have a Great Day. Any Questions?

Someone contacted me about our duplicate listings for Joseph H. Harper. He is a distant relative of mine, and I have done a lot of research on our mutual family line. I would like to keep my listing if you wouldn't mind deleting yours. I would be happy to add any info you would like added. Thanks for your help!
