Just a quick thank you for going out to Reichswald Forest War Cemetery and taking wonderful photos of my Uncle Jim's headstone. My dad (James's brother) would have so appreciated your photo, but he passed in 2000. I will share the photo with the few surviving family members.
Thanks again! Sincerely, Scott

Thank you very much for the great photo and speedy response.
I keep coming across many of these young Australian lads by chance who joined the RAF and were killed so far from home. William was on the Commemorative Roll in Australia which was presumably put forward by a relative. This Roll was for those Australians who died in another allied countries service.
Many not having their NOK details on CWGC website makes it just that much more difficult to find them (now over 250 in the RAF)
I had photo's of all 5,975 who are buried or memorialised in European countries. (Now 5,976)
Knowing he was Australian and proving it is another matter.
I have finally tracked him down through Ancestry. His family left Germany in the late 1800's and William was born in Perth, Western Australia.

You are a wonderful colleague Mitch and I am proud that you are my friend. The things that you do for remembrance have to be seen to be believed. A simple thank you seems hardly enough for what you have done and continue to do! Kelvin @ Aircrew Remembered.
Many thanks for the latest photographs.
