Hi, I'm a retired educator. Genealogy is in my blood. My mom, her mom and so on have recorded family information for years. I have those records and more for many surnames. Check out my virtual cemeteries. We may be related.
Find A Grave has helped me locate burials of ancestors who were lost. I'm very appreciative of the people who have posted memorials for those cherished souls.

I will be unable to respond to additions and corrections; also answer email requests. I have health and family issues which take priority at this time. Also my computer is being repaired. I get on-line intermittently but do not have access to my genealogy files. Thank you for continuing to remember my family members, especially my son.

Re: 137241527 William Crabb
Mary, I was thinking of contacting Susie with my uncertainties as to whether this was the William Crabb who was the first husband of Lucy Ann Eastman and whether he was a son of Henderson Crabb Sr. and Jemima Downing; but I gather you're more likely to have some answers or clues. The dates and some other bits of information seem to fit, as William died in 1839 and Lucy Ann Crabb appears in the 1840 Census on the same page as Henderson Crabb in West Jefferson Township, Madison County (and her brother Theron Eastman and Nancy Brittingham were married by Henderson Crabb in Madison County in 1833). If this is the right William, I suspect he was not born in Champaign County but in Madison County, but I've seen hardly any documentation about him other than the record of his marriage to Lucy in Madison County in 1830 and some passing references to a W.W. Crabb in Champaign County.

Pleasant Adams 163599645
Iím reaching out to anyone who is interested in Pleasant Adams who was married to Ruth Sutherland. I saw the memorial you posted with unknown burial location in FindAGrave.

Iíve been researching this family along with a distant cousin who began in 1960s. Iím interested in the middle name of ďJamesĒ you listed and your source. Iíve not found any records or family notes of this being a middle name and that includes census, land, and probate. Do you have any information on this middle name and any documentation on where he is buried? He was living in Clay County and probated in Andrew County.

Thank you
