Names I am researching: Medd, Poshard, White, Lods, Beaver/Bever, McKee, Riley, West, McCane, Redden, Mahan, Vail, Hedrick, Cramer, Lefforge, Mann, Logan, Amos.|
The Rush Co. Genealogical Society is in the process of transcribing & posting photos for all cemeteries in Rush County. This will be a long process, so be patient.
I will be happy to transfer memorials to a direct relative.
There has been much discussion over the use of photos. By all means, use any photo I have posted, and you don't need my permission.

You have this man connected to Catherine Harmon with a son Sylvestor. How did you make this determination? I have looked and looked for Elijah and would like to know how you connected him to Catherine.

|Rosemary Nordstrom||David Sutton, d. 1863 #26893556|
Hello! I am curious about this memorial, which gives a death date of August 1863, but the gravestone seems to say "Feb. 1863". My ancestor, David Sutton (the photo on your memorial has also been attributed to him), died February 21 (or possibly 27) 1863, in Chickasaw County, IA (date according to probate records), but he had lived in Indiana over the years. It is just such an odd coincidence that the David Sutton buried in Heaton Cemetery would have the same death date as the one who died in IA - and who was not married to Letitia or the father of the children listed on his memorial. Probably just that, a weird coincidence, but I was wondering where the August death date came from?
All the best,
Thanks so much for the pictures and all the information of the individuals you have put on Find A Grave. Wonderful work. You've helped me out so much on so many memorials I'd been trying to fit in my tree. My tree would be much smaller if I hadn't connected with you.
Many thanks, Jayne

Hi Linda, Thank you for creating the memorial for the David Graham Family. Memorial #39872599, David Graham. You have a relationship err posted under his children. His wife's name,CAROLINE ADAMS, her birth and death dates are listed, as a child of his, as well as his wife.
He had four daughters:
IDA BELLE GRAHAM 1856-1871 there is scant information about Ida / ADA as she is listed in one Census
ANNA JANE GRAHAM, ONG 17 May 1858 -- 13 August 1930 Columbus, Bartholomew County, IN.
MARY ETTA GRAHAM, DITMARS 8 August 1860 -- 26 March 1937 Franklin, Johnson County, IN.
MINNIE ROBENA GRAHAM, DITMARS 31 August 1864 IN. -- 26 September 1944 Franklin County, IN.
They are distant cousins of my husband's on the ADAMS side.
Thank you for considering my edits. k.
|Kathleen Perkins||RE: McKee family|
A Charles H. McKee was my great-grandfather. His wife was Katherine Simonson McKee. They were buried at the East Hill Cemetery in Rushville, Indiana. William Simonson McKee, (William S. McKee on his tombstone) was my grandfather,although he was not listed as one of their children on Find A Grave site.
My grandfather William S. McKee and his wife (Charity Hoy McKee) had 5 children. They were: William Lowell McKee,( who died in a house fire on their farm in Orange. He was 3, I believe). Donald Robert McKee, Katherine Gerlandine McKee, Lawrence Nelson McKee (my father) and Helen Roselyn McKee. Donald Robert McKee is buried in New Lisbon, Indiana. Katherine Gerlandine McKee Monroe is buried next to her dad in Rushville. She legally changed her name to Jeri, because she was an attorney, and back in the 50's female attorneys had a hard time getting clients if people knew they were female. My father (Lawrence) is buried in the Riverside Cemetery in Cambridge City, Indiana. Only Helen is alive today. She is 91 years old. She lives in Hagerstown, Indiana. She has Parkinsons, and was diagnosed a couple of years ago. My father, Larry McKee died from complications from Parkinsons and pneumonia in 2007. He was diagnosed a couple of months before he passed away. We were not aware Parkinson disease was in the family.
I have a interesting photo of my grandfather, my grandmother,Uncle Don, Aunt Girlie, and dad taken around 1920. I you want to have a copy, I can e-mail it to you. Let me know.
My e-mail address is: KathleenPerkins@comcast.net
I hope this helps in your research.

Please accept my belated, but very sincere, thanks Linda. All the best to you. -Joe K.
|Cecily Bishop||RE: William Schrontz|
Thank you. That's generous of you. I know there are some Find A Grave posters who don't want their photos used by others...although I wonder why they post them in the first place.
|Cecily Bishop||William Schrontz|
Linda, may I copy your photo for the Schrontz into my tree. I will credit you for the photo. His wife, Mary, was my 1st cousin 2x removed.
|Darlene Ellerman Palmer||MARGISON|
Would you please transfer Amanda Margison (95916961) and Anthony W. Margison (95916962) to me? They are my children's great-grandparents.
|Phoebe Call||John Lewis's wife Mary died before 1810|
Hi Linda, it was pointed out to me that Mary Power was not in the 1810 census, and that John Lewis married Mary Morten or Martin afterwards. There is a record of that marriage.
Phoebe Call, descendant.
