Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born in Washington and have lived here all my life. I married my husband (Robert Saltzgiver) in 1970. My mother Willmetta Pratt did genealogy for many years but I did not start tell the 70's.
Some families that I am working on are Saltzgiver's, Polmateer, Major,Pratt and Bauguess.

We have had many road trips across the country going from Cemetery to cemetery. Bob is a golfer but did not take his clubs one time and just about every cemetery we stopped at there was a golf course across the street or not far.

I have a great time working on genealogy and love the hunt and then the suprises that I fine in some of the stranges places.

Eva Leyde
Hi Linda - helping Sis at the cemetery update her records and was scratching my head over Eva as Sis said there was no such record. But, after her husband, Paul Leyde, died in 1958 she remarried Ralph Seaunier and is listed under that name - unfortunately there is no way to list two married names on Find A Grave - if you want to remove Seaunier as her maiden name and put it as last name I will delete the one I had made. Thanks!

Permission to copy tombstone photo.
I'm asking your permission to use a tombstone photo for a distant ancestor on my paternal side for my family tree on ancestry. Your photo confirms we had the wrong name for Elma H. Albrecht. (We had the name Alma.) Will give you credit and thank you so much for all your work for Find A Grave. Phyllis Nelson

Hi Linda,

I didn't know of your Bauguess's. I didn't know that they exsisted until I started doing genealogy in 1998. I found Jason Duncon and he interduced me to my whole family of Bauguess's and Pruitts and all the others. He has pictures of almost all of them. That is where I got my picture. If you don't know about him just put his name in google and he will pop up. His grandmother was Doris Bauguess and that was his start. Very smart man and kind.

If you want to keep in touch my email is

Isn't it wonderful to share information that only you know. My Dad was William Albert Bawgus. They changed the spelling some time about when they moved to Tennessee. His family in Wilkes was Bauguess.
Thanks so much for remembering that for me. All my siblings are dead and I try to tell there kids as much as I can remember.

Kind Regards,
Mary Scheller
