Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been an avid genealogist in Perry Co. for over 35 years. I have researched my family in Letcher, Perry, Breathitt, Magoffin, Morgan, Leslie, Clay, Lee and Owsley counties. I have research on the Campbell, Couch, Dixon, Combs, Cornett, Feltner, Williams, Whitely, Haney, Gullet and others that came into my family as I researched. I became a member of FAG while trying to find my grandfather's lost grave in Magoffin Co. My husband and I started taking pictures of the cemeteries in Perry Co. to help people find their lost loved ones. We are attempting to photograph the cemeteries in Perry county. I will do transfers within the four Generation FAG guideline that include: Spouses, Parents, Brothers and Sisters, Children, Grand-children, Grandparents and great grandparents. Sorry, no transfers to aunts, uncles or cousins. PLEASE DO NOT ASK FOR TRANSFERS NOT IN YOUR DIRECT LINE. I try to be accommodating but I will not tolerate rudeness. If any of my memorials need to be edited, please contact me using the edit button. Also I will try to help if you are having trouble research your family members. Thanks

RE: Neace Cemetery, Perry Co. Ky.
There are three Neace Cemeteries in Perry Co. The one I created is this one:

It says Grapevine, Perry Co. I don't think I can put two cities. It gives a drop down list of cities that include both Grapevine and Bonneyman. And it doesn't appear that I can change that, only the lat/lon and description. If you want it changed I guess you could send Admin an email requesting it. Sorry.

Thank you for posting the picture of the cemetery in which my sister, Goldie Jean is buried in Perry County (Duff Family Cemetery). Is there any chance you can get a picture of her headstone? There is no hurry, but I would dearly love one. Thank you. Jack Bradow

This is the url for the Rebecca Campbell Fields Bowling entry you asked me to merge. It is not Rebecca Campbell Fields Bowling. Please research this and let me know what you find.

RE: Rev War Solidier John Combs
Ron Combs and his sister Sandi, and their cousin Lavonda, all met me today and I called a friend who had also been there to meet us. It is way back on a farm and the land is very hilly and rough. The friend was the one that claened and fenced the cemetery years ago as he has Green(e) family that was Good(e) connected there also. I went there several years ago as we were looking for another Rev. War soldier, Andrew Young(my Young line), also buried in the same general area. I see an Andrew Young on the Combs family website as witness on John's probate but I think it's Andrew Young's son also named Andrew, as Andrew, Sr. died 1847 or 1848 before John Combs. There were many Rev. War soldier's in Washington County., KY. I grew up there but did not know all this until much later in life.

The one that died 1848 in Washington Co., KY. So you have not been there? Do you know who sent it to you?

When did you take the picture of his stone? We were there today. Very overgrown. We are trying to figure out who place the new stone.

RE: Sally Combs Deaton
Thank you very much. Every bit of information helps. But I think you could be right, there may not be any way of finding proof. So far, every Sarah(Sally) Combs has some connection to someone, but not Sally Combs Deaton.
Take Care,

Sally Combs Deaton
Hello, I am looking for any information on Sally Combs, Daughter of Mason Combs, and Matilda Watts. Born in Jan 1829 according to the Family Bible.
It looks like she married George Washington Deaton in 1852 (census records) and they had 11 children. Their son Delaney Deaton is my line. Other than the Family Bible, there is no connection of Sally(Sarah) to Mason/Matilda. Looking for confirmation. If she is not Mason/Matilda's daughter, which Combs is she related to??
Seem to be running around in circles and hope you may have an answer.
Thanks for your time.
