I grew up in Winslow, Arizona and spent many years in Texas. I now live in Salt Lake City and am retired from the Union Pacific Railroad and Delta Air Lines. Once I found out how many of my relatives had memorials on Find A Grave and how many more needed to be created, I was hooked.|
Iím currently creating memorials from African American death certificates in Texas. Just finished Wharton County and now working on Fayette County. I believe in adding as much info to a memorial as possible through the death certificate and Ancestry.com. This includes all birth and death info and connecting them to their parents if possible. The more you add, the easier it will be for future generations to find their ancestors. I always check to make sure Iím not creating a duplicate so, if you see one that Iíve overlooked, donít hesitate to let me know so I can delete mine.
Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
If you have extensive additions/changes to make to a memorial, please use the link under the "Edit" tab on the memorial.

Your doing quite a bit of research over at the Henson
Cemetery, many thanks for that.
I took the liberty of adding the info onto the bio
And gave you credit since U did the work.
If U rather I not do that, let me know and I'll cease.
Thanks again, later, James Coston

Tim. No I didn't. The server is misallocating images to the wrong memorials. I have had many people contact me this week. Driving me nuts, but I will delete.

You are correct her spouse is the same, however, the "Edit" feature would not allow me to add her parents names because there was supposedly already a "Spouse" request submitted....if that makes any sense. I am not sure why this occurs on some "Edits" but not others. Possible glitch in the system? Thank you for sharing.

Thank you for the edit. Are you related?

Thank you for sending the correct name of the cemetery. I have corrected the two memorials.

There may be a duplicate for Margaret. Check out Find A Grave Memorial# 30121479. It sure looks like the same person to me. She must have had 2 husbands.

Many thanks, Tim, for your photograph!

You are very gracious, Tim--thank you! Since I've saved all my old cemetery block cards, I'm going through and adding exact locations.
|Michael Shea, MD||RE: Jan Kip|
Sure, Tim, I'd be very pleased to take ownership of Jan Kip's memorial. I appreciate your work very much. I have been an amateur genealogist in years gone by, and my work could not have been done without contributors like you.
