Please feel free to use any of the photos I post on this site! God has blessed me with the ability to photograph these headstones, so this is my way of giving back. So many wonderful people have photographed and created memorials of my family members! Frequently, my grandchildren will appear in the headstone photos that I post. They go with me to each cemetery and love cleaning up and placing flowers. Teach them to enjoy while they are young!|
I'm a mother of 4 children and grandmother of 7. I have been researching my ancestry along with my sister Debbie. We have really enjoied hunting and searching for our past. Find A Grave has been an excellent source of information for us. I feel it is very important to contribute to this site and do it in a manner that is respective and accurate. I'll be glad to take volunteer photos. I'm located in Adamsville, Jefferson County, Alabama. I am willing to go to Walker County any time.
If I have made a mistake on any of the memorials that I have created or maintain, please feel free to send me edits. If you are a direct relative and would like a memorial transferred to you, please make your requests via the edit tab and I will gladly transfer unless they are also my direct relative.
Some of the Surnames that I am researching include: Cairns, Roberts, Ragland, Rouse, Campbell, Creel, Cruce, Palmer, Mueller, Sherwood, Bradley, Entrekin, Ford, Smith.

Richard Lee is a very distant cousin of my husband's. I feel sorry for this little one with no family history, so I will share what I have found through the Alabama Death and Burial Index. Richard Lee Jorenby born Jan. 13, 1972 to Rolland Lane and Edna Mae (Meads) Jorenby. He died Mar. 5, 1972.

|Ann Maree||RE: Newspaper clipping photos|
They've already been deleted from the photos, I just wanted to ask you to send the edits or to put the info in the bio in the future instead of posting newspaper scans as photos which get deleted. It has nothing to do with copyrights or newspapers themselves, it's just that Find A Grave doesn't allow newspaper scans to use the photo section. I'm sure they have their reasons, lol, I know one I've heard admins mention is that the words in the photos aren't searchable like when you put the words in the actual bio area. My apologies if my message last night sounded "short" I was really just trying to save you some work going forward and make sure the info gets on the memorial where it can be searched and won't just get deleted.
|Ann Maree||Newspaper clipping photos|
These types of photos are not allowed on Find A Grave. Please delete them and send the appropriate edits using the edit tab. I have had to delete several of them from memorials, so your work adding them is just wasted. Send the edits, don't add the photo of the newspaper, please.

To clarify -
It only says EDDYVILLE TRIBUNE 1886.
Can you please tell us the month day and year of the Newspaper - did it have an Issue number (that would be on the top of the front page), and what page of the newspaper it was in
