I was born in Houston, TX and have continued to live my life here; but, I love to travel and search for the grave sites of my ancestors. I started doing the family genealogy when I was in my early 20's. At that time I had small children so genealogy went along in slow-motion- mostly talking to family members and writing everything down in a note book. That was before the personal computer, of course. Now that the children are grown and we have more time on our hands, my husband has joined me in the search for information on our ancestors. Since we are both retired now more time to travel and work on genealogy. We also add side trips to visit our grandson in Florida, family and friends around the country, lighthouses and we always do a little antiquing along the way. The photo above shows me descending the circular stairway in St Augustine Lighthouse in Florida.

Please visit our daughter and grand-daughter's memorials:

RE: Lena Drain
Thanks for adding the info. No, I do not wish to manage the site at this time. I am just learning how to do all of this. Maybe later, Connie

Managing sites

First, thanks for creating Henry's site originally!

Second, I wouldn't mind managing his site if you'll let me know how. Then perhaps other members of his family.

Third, I would like to add my mother Mae Lucille Smith (1901-1967) & her sister, Alma Lehalla Smith (1892-1987), These are the last 2 children of Henry & Laura Ida Penn.

Thanks again for all your hard work and research. I really appreciate it.

Cornelius Vanderbilt Ford
HI---Looking into my family history. I had always heard we may be related to Henry Ford of Ford Motor Company fame----also Cornelius Vanderbilt. I do know without a doubt I am related to Cornelius Vanderbilt Ford, dob 2 Oct 1878 and death 28 Feb 1968, as you have included in your work. Would you happen to know any more than I have mentioned above about my Ford relatives? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much. If you want to transfer any other Bralley ones, I will be happy to take them.

Would you please transfer this memorial to me? Andrew Jackson Bralley, my grandfather. Second request, not sure if you saw the first one.

Julius and Eula Adams tomb stones
Ok, Family Members in Dallas & Tarrant Counties. I did have the grave-maker photograph for Grandfather and Grandmother so you could check the dates (Birth and Death); However it was merged by another relative and now you don't have the information you all requested at our last reunion, I will try to add that photo back as soon as I can.
