Bio Photo HI, I WAS BORN AND RAISED IN PALATKA, FLORIDA IN 1938. I HAVE LIVED WITH-IN A 100 MILE RADIUS OF PALATKA ALL MY LIFE. I NOW LIVE IN LAKE COMO, FL.
I LOVE EXPLORING CEMETERIES. THEY ARE THE MOST PEACEFUL PLACE IN MY WORLD. AND I GREW UP AROUND FUNERAL HOMES AND CEMETERIES. I AM A MOTHER OF 4 BOYS [2 NOW DECEASED}. IF YOU FIND ANY DOUBLE ENTRIES OR CORRECTIONS ON ANY OF MY MEMORIALS PLEASE DON'T HESITATE TO CONTACT ME. I'M ALWAYS GLAD TO MAKE CORRECTIONS OR ADDITIONS. I WANT MY INFORMATION TO BE AS ACCURATE AS IS HUMANLY POSSIBLE. GOD SPEED TO US ALL IN OUR SEARCHES.

I am happy to transfer and/or correct for anyone. However , I need more information in order to do this. First, a link to the memorial is very helpful, or at the very least the cemetery name. Your F A G # is super helpful. Without this information it may take me hours to find what I'm looking for. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank You.

Hello, Rose, I see you have added flowers for this grave (Find A Grave Memorial# 37136043) and wondered if you were acquainted? Thank you so much for your work. I'd be right there beside you if I could.

Hi Rose
I added my mother and brother to my fathers page
I hope it is right.
Also, My parents were married in 1952 and divorced in 1962.My dad played baseball in the navy. They had 2 children Donald Bass and Terri Bass
Donnie was my only sibling.I dont want it even mentioned that Jessie anne bass was my mother!
That witch didn't even put my brother in my father's obituary! If I could edit his page I would because its not right!

Sweet Mrs Rose.
While I am sure this isn't the proper way to post but I wanted everyone that visits to know that we have lost this sweet woman who was always willing to lend a hand with family history . She will truly be missed <3

RE: Harper Strickland
Rose,
The Cemetery is Gum Creek Cemetery in Interlachen. I was wondering if you could help me out about something. The memorial for John W. Strickland and Cherity Harper, lists that he was born in Blackshear, Pierce County, Georgia. However, in 1813, when he was born, this county seat and county, did not exist yet. Pierce county was formed many years later, in 1857. It was formed from Appling and Ware County. For this reason, I am having trouble figuring out why someone said he was born in Pierce county, when it did not exist. And where was this in 1813, in Appling County maybe ? In 1813, this area was Creek Territory. In 1820, Stephen Strickland lived in Appling County, and I am trying to figure out if he was John's parent. Do you know anything about this ? Do you know if Malachi Harper or John Harper was Cherity's parent ? Thank you for any help you can give me.
Sincerely, Talmia Slade Burr

Putnam County Civil War Vet/Sunderland
I am a Vermont Civil War buff, and am working on a project to identify the last resting places of many "old soldiers" with ties to Vt. George Sunderland is one such patriot. May I use the photo that you contributed to his memorial page, to post on the Vt.C.W. site? ( www.vermontcivilwar.org)
You will receive credit for this.
Thank you for your consideration.

Mary Ellen Forehand Driver
Hello Rose: Am interested in adding the maiden name and full family links to Mary E. Driver ~ she was my great grandmother. I was unable to find a grave posting for her and so posted one myself this week. I am new to Find A Grave even though oddly enough once I registered it stated I have been a member for 8+ years. Two other members have been assisting me with linking my great grandfather and my grandfather and his siblings. One of those members found your posting and I so appreciate the memorial you posted from the paper in 1903. I have deleted my posting of her and have added a photo of her with my great grandfather AV Driver, Sr. but would like to be able to link her to the rest of the family. Since the messages are public and the only other way to communicate is through edits which are difficult, please feel free to respond via my email dbbinflorida@aol.com Thank you.
