I have been practicing the craft of genealogy for around 16 years. I enjoy continuing to expand my work as time and money permit. This includes going out and getting photographs of graves for my family tree. Since joining findagrave.com, I often take photographs of other graves as well.|
After years of having my photos show up in other people's "work" with no photo credit, I began taking it upon myself to make it clear who took my photos by placing my name on them. I made it a point to place my copyright so as NOT to obstruct any information on the stone.
If you want pictures to publish in your tree, you have permission to use mine only if you give proper credit. You can easily give credit by making a note of who took the photo. If you are publishing this in a not-for-profit book, I should be listed in your sources both in-line and at the end. Thank you. I give no permission for my photos to be used in commercial works.
