Roni Heise
Daniel Gildea is married to Margaret Ellen Malloy Gildea. Children are Alphonsus Gildea, Clement Gildea, Eunice Ann Gildea Terry - husband is Leo T Garry. They had a son Joseph Gildea and I do not know where he is buried and a daughter Bernice Marie Gildea who married Joseph Henry McCabe and they both died in Walla Walla, Washington and have not found a cemetery for them yet...........Joseph Henry was my great uncle, brother to my grandfather.

Ole J. Smemoe
Just and FYI, the following is an obit for Ole. Also posted a photo copy on his memorial page. If you wouldn't mind please post the typed version as well.



Ole J. Smemoe Obituary

Ole J. Smemoe, residing five miles southeast of Baltic, died at his home Friday after a lingering illness. Mr. Smemoe was born in Meraker, Norway, December 16, 1869. They emigrated to this county in 1872, coming first to Goodhue county, Minnesota, and the following year to Minnehaha county where Mr. Smemoe homesteaded in section 10 of Sverdrup township, and where Ole Smemoe had his home until his death.

On November 19, 1910, Mr. Smemoe as united in Marriage to Emma Erickson of Madison, S.D. To this union nine children were born, three of whom preceded him in death. The living are Myrtle, Otella, Evelyn, Luella, Vivian, the daughters and one son Jennings. He is also survived by four brothers and one sister.

Funeral services were held at the home Tuesday, following by services in East Nidaros Church, one and a half miles east of the Smemoe home, Rev. J. H. Myrang officiating.
