I am a Vermont Civil War buff, and am presently working on a project to identify the last resting places of many of our "old soldiers & sailors" Benjamin Fitch is one such patriot. He was born in Danville Vt 2/21/1835, and enlisted in the U.S. Navy, serving as assistant paymaster. He was aboard the "Tennessee" He was mustered out in Sept.,1864.He died April 20,1929.
I would like to ask you if I could use the photo that you contributed to his Find A Grave Memorial page, to post on the Vt.C.W.site? ( www.vermontcivilwar.org)
You would receive credit for this.
Thank you for your consideration.
|Thom Hamilton||RE: Memorial # 65912681|
Her name at birth was CHARLOTTE OMA DAVIS. She was called "Lottie".
Dates of birth and death you have on the headstone.
She married William M Peugh on Jan 12, 1865 in Salem, Washington County, Indiana.
She was the daughter of Samuel Davis and Nancy Hutchinson.
Please link her to her husband, William (Memorial # 65912655).

It looks like I jumped in front of you posting memorials for Edmund and Ellen Bixler in Easton. My apologies - it wasn't intentional.

|Julie Sherwood||Edit request: Wilson|
I wanted to see if you are still active on Find a Grave. I keep trying to send an edit request, and now it won't let me because it says there is already a request pending. But it has been quite some time since I sent the last request and I just wondered if you are still updating records. The requests I had would link America Ann Wilson with her parents and spouse. Let me know if you need me to send it to you another way. Thanks! -- Julie L

Was looking at some of the photos and was wondering what/who they are because the stones are so dark. Was wondering if any of that stuff would brush off for a better pic? If you think so, I might give it a try.

|Bill Bates||Harold Marlin|
Harold is on an end with Donald Ritchie beside him.
All the very best, Bill
|Bill Bates||Harold Marlin|
I plan to photograph Harold Marlin's grave marker for you Tuesday.
As for nearby relatives, the VA data base lists no other Marlins in the cemetery, but I will look around.
Have an awesome day, Bill
