I have a passion for photography and genealogy as well! I am slowly going to all of the cemetery(s) in our local area and photographing all headstones and updating them to this website.|
Also -- another FindAGrave contributor wrote this... I think it says it all:
Please note: This is NOT a numbers game, Nor a "who has who" game here. Some of us are serious about getting names & photos of headstones that are not going to be around and making memorial pages. That is what this is about, making/recording that person lived and died. Like many, I spend long, long hours either in a cemetery, or adding memorial pages to Findagrave.com. I would love to see some of the headstones of family members that were in the 1700 & 1800 of my family, but that isn't going to happen as many are gone.
It doesn't matter who has the memorial page, the important thing is that someone cared enough to make a memorial page to honor that person and that is what findagrave.com is all about. Honoring the deceased, NOT who has what memorial or how many that they have. Thanks!

|Karen Finch||Thank you for all of your time.|
It means a lot to me and my family. 💞

Re: Minnie Duckworth Conner
60654656 is Minnie's number. My cousin Kenneth Smith and I would like to see if her relationship to Frank Conner can be changed from sibling to 2nd wife, please.
I tried to use the edit button but says there's a pending edit. Honestly, if all these recent requests are too much, feel free to ask either of us to transfer any. I'm ok either way, but just feel like I've asked for a lot recently. - Karen
|Karen Finch||So many edits|
Hope I haven't overwhelmed you with so many additions to add and link. Thanks for your time... I know it's all volunteer. Just want you to know I appreciate it. You seem to have a lot of my family members. :-)
|Karen Finch||James W Conner's gravestone photo|
During the change for James' edits from Connor to James W. Conner, the wonderful gravestone with the exact birth and death dates is now gone. Anyway to get it back, please?
|Karen Finch||Thank you for James Conner!|
So glad to see the changes.
I'll share with my family.

Lucy E Hobson Willingham, is buried at Wingo Cemetery with her husband, or that's where her tombstone is. I sent a message to the manager for an update. I was unaware there was a photo request on it until I uploaded the photo.
|Karen Ver Wayne||Scheidel, Mary (66861989)|
Mary Scheidel is listed in the 1860 census as a 1 year old with her parents and sister Sophia. Her birth date cannot be 1861 as listed on Find A Grave. She is gone in from 1870 census of her family. I see on Family Search where those birth and death dates probably came from so I am thinking there are 2 Mary Scheidels who died young in Posey County, Indiana. If there is a actual grave marker is it possible to see a photo. Thank you for your help. Karen VerWayne
Hi, I am researching my Klotz line from Germany to Posey County. I am the great grandson of Wilferd Owen Klotz of Mt. Vernon. Can you provide me with all of the information listed on the headstone of Louisa Klotz in Black's Cemetery....I can only read part of it from the picture. I am trying to find out if she is a daughter of Heinrich Jacob Klotz b. 25 Sep 1843!

|ATS||Clayton Dean Lockridge memorial|
Thank you for posting the memorial for Clayton Dean. He is our nephew. Would you give me permission to copy the photo of the gravestone? Also would you transfer the management of the memorial to me so I can add family history?
I sincerely appreciate the work you do.
Thank you, Anna [ATS]

|N. Houston||Mabel Buchanan|
Mabel Buchanan is a cousin of mine, 1st cousin to my mother and I am SOOOO glad to have found her. She is not buried with her parents or siblings. Would you like to add their names to her Memorial please? I believe it is under the Edit tab, altho it has been a while. Her mother is Frances "Fannie" (Bradley) Redman # 84975633 and her father is Henry C. "Webb" Redman, #84976120. I tried to connect all of my direct line & cousins/aunts,etc. to their families so people could fill in blank spaces in their trees but could not find Mabel (Redman) Buchanan. She was living with a daughter in Fl when she died or shortly before. Thanks for creating this Memorial.
