Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been researching my family since 1968 and have had the good fortune to talk to many family members that have long ago passed on to a better place. I just wish I could again have the pleasure of talking to them. I still have many questions that they could answer, and I often wonder why I didn't ask those questions when I had the chance.

Please if you see any errors email me, or post a message-----Also if I have someone in your family listed that you would like to list yourself just let me know and I will transfer ownership to you. Or if you don't want a family member listed I will delete the listing if I made it, at your request.
The Family names that I am interested in are; Long, York, Parsons, Norman, Norris, Herrell, Fowler, Conner, Cooper, Cox, Trogdon, Edmondson, Dyches, Wells, Mull, Rogers, Olinger, Ely, Pennington, Skaggs, Crabtree, Allred, Aldridge. And my Wifes side; Haworth, Hale, Foster, Hankins, Campbell, Martin, Alsup, Mitchell, Lewis, West, Stone, Dillon, Wood, Rees, Scarbrough & Garrett. From PA to VA and NC To TN.

John and Nancy Wood
Hello,
I'm not related, but while I was searching for another family, I ran across death record for one Mary Etta Wood who was married to Omer R. Woods. She died in Salt lake City, Utah and her remains were sent to Knoxville. Her parents are listed as John and Nancy E. Gentry Wood. Is this the daughter of the ones you have? If so, I've downloaded her death certificate and a news clipping of her murder, if you're interested. Mary Etta Wood Woods (# 77261552) is buried in the Greenwood Cemetery.

Dale Davis Aschenbach
Conner/ Winstead family
Hi Bobby. I was in contact with you before about the Conner/Winstead family. They are my husband, Ed Aschenbach's relatives. You had said that if we were in the Knoxville area to let you know. Well, we were there May 13th and 14. We had been to Pennsylvania and NJ to visit relatives and made Knoxville a stop on our way back to Fl. Unfortunately, my husband had contracted a virus of some sort and was sick in our hotel room the whole time. On top of that, it had been raining. I was on my own. I went to the historical society/library on Fri. the 13th and spent several hours. I managed to find the marriage license for Hannah Conner and Henry Winstead. I also got Henry Winstead's death cert but it turned out I could have gotten that at home. I found it on the family search website. My husband was feeling a little better Sat but we decided to move on to our next destination and not look for the cemeteries. I had started to come down with the virus by then. We had a few miserable days there and were glad to get back home on the 18th. If we're ever back that way, I'll be sure to let you know. I had to get a temp library card that's good til next May. Thanks, Dale and Ed

Hi Bobby.

I am positive that this E. Person (Pearson) is my gg grandmother unless you prove me wrong. It is a little long complicated story for me to prove it to you that this E. Pearson is the right one for me. Do you descend from E. Person (Pearson)? If yes, I would like to hear your sources which might match with mine. Are you familiar with Meredith and Ann J. (Moore) Pearson and their children to begin with? If so, it would be alot easier for me to show you the paper trail later. I hope we would solve this mysterious lady, E. Person (Pearson) one way or the other soon. By the way, please don't forget to look for E. Person in the book, "Meet Me At The Campground" by Robert McGinnis. What is her death year? Many thanks.

P.S. Re: Wiley Rhodes--I see two Wiley Rhodes on the memorials at the findagrave.com but I added his parents' names as William Rhodes and Sarah Pearson. Yours was none. What could we do?
