Please, do NOT copy my photos to ancestry.com without giving me credit. Use for commercial purposes is not allowed under any circumstances. However, it is okay with me for you to post my photos of your friends and families headstones on Facebook as long as you link it back to the Find A Grave memorial. You may use my photos on your own personal website if non-commercial, but photo credit is again appreciated [borrowed with permission from J. Sullivan].
If you need to make a correction to one of my managed memorials, use the new Edit feature for most changes. They will be made within 21 days--usually sooner. If you are requesting a biographical update or are requesting a transfer, use the suggest a correction button under that feature. Do not use this for basic changes. Use the new Edit system. As I get an e-mail for those, they will be handled more quickly. Leaving a message here will also generate an e-mail, but please do not use this feature for corrections.
Thanks to Brooke in Henry County, Iowa, for getting me started. She found my wife's great-grandmother's grave in Iowa and posted it--we never would have found it without her!

Thank you so much for sharing your photos :) Your photos are indeed very nice and I will definitely be using them.
Have a great day.
Thank you so much for bringing my attention to this particular burial ground for David Lane... you are absolutely correct! However, I will continue my research on this ancestral line.

That's awesome to read about a memorial for Colo that has been designated as worthy of such awe! She will live on in everyone's hearts for sure.

Thanks for the update re: the memorial(s) for Colo. I am constantly in awe of the advice and generosity of other contributors who assist with this database, and perplexed by the few who make it a challenge in creating new memorials, ha! Keep up the good work in memorializing others. Warmly, Helen, Nashville, TN

Oakland Cemetery in Sandusky does have a website with a search feature. It's incomplete but may be useful to you.
I've added photo requests for Rosa Amelia' parents Adam and Elizabeth Lutz. They're not listed in the search mentioned above but maybe you'll come across them then you re-photograph Rosa's marker.
|Honoring Their Lives||Re: Colo memorial|
You are correct, the other memorial for Colo was created before mine. I looked carefully before creating a memorial for such an amazing creature, sometimes I feel that there is a glitch in the system as the other one did not show up. Thanks again, Helen.

Looks good. I've added photo and deleted Amelia. No need to transfer. Nice working with you.

Thanks for informing me about these memorials.
Since you created the memorial in the correct cemetery first (and have grave photo), you have it. I suggest you copy the bio and use the family links on "Amelia's" memorial and add them to "Rosa's" memorial. I see you have already mentioned the name difference in the bio. I'll then add her photo to "Rosa" and then I can delete "Amelia".
Otherwise we can ask Admin to merge them and you'd likely retain management. The Lutzes are relatives but not in my direct line. Let me know if you have any other suggestions.
|BlueAngel||RE: Helenefriedhof Austria|
I'm very sorry if I created a duplicate cemetery. Of course I searched for a duplicate before I created it but what ever the reason was, there was no Helenenfriedhof showing up to me. Originally the Helenenfriedhof is called "Friedhof Baden St. Helena" but it's called "Helenenfriedhof" by the locals. The name comes from the name of the original parish St. Helena. And yes you are so right, you always should be very careful before creating a new cemetery, especially in a foreign country. I'm Austrian, Baden is my home town and I lived next to this cemetery for my whole life. Most of my family is buried there. It's easy for me to go to this cemetery and other cemetery around, to take photos of the graves and adding and maintaining the cemetery for Find a Grave. Why would someone want to do it from abroud who can't go there every day? Thank you for your advice and sorry for my English. Best Regards
You have created a duplicate cemetery when it was already on the site (since at least 2004). If you need help fixing this, let me know and I shall lend a hand. One should *always* be very careful before creating a new cemetery on the site, especially in a foreign country, as it is easy to make a mistake here and create a duplicate (I've done so myself))
