I very much appreciate photos being added to the memorials I create, however, I ask that when photos are added to memorials that I own, please be sure it is a quality photo showing the entire marker, and that the photo is not sideways or upside down. I take great care to take nice photos for the memorials owned by others, going as far as to edit them on photoshop to ensure they look the best they can. I would appreciate the same care for photos added to memorials I own. So if I see a photo that is sideways, I will edit it to be rotated correctly and then repost it.|
You may use photos I have taken of grave markers, but please note credit with "© BJShields Find-A-Grave Member #47495665".
I appreciate any information anyone wants to share that can be added to any of the memorials I've posted. I don't mind transferring ownership if the memorial is not one of my own relatives.
If you would like to use a personal photo of a person, please check with me first (unless it is a photo I included from an obituary, which I note in the caption of the photo).
If there is a photo or any information that family members would rather not be included on a memorial, please don't hesitate to let me know and I will be happy to delete it.
If you happen to notice I've entered a duplicate of another memorial, don't get upset, just let me know and I'll be happy to delete it. I make every effort to ensure that I don't create duplicates.

|Dudley Greer||Vickers-Leonard Burial Ground|
Wow, you have done some amazing work here. I went to Woodlawn Memorial Park today and the lady there could not find a records for Capt Clement Vickers, Capt Robert Leonard, Capt John Work or Arianna Vickers Leonard. You have them all being relocated from the Vickers Burial Ground at Easton Point to Woodlawn. Can you provide any additional information on where they might be located at Woodlawn? I assume you had access to all internment records? or from another source?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I came across a memorial page that you have created for a relative of mine, Ruth Allanbrook Barnett (97704481). You have her listed as buried in Third Haven Meeting Burial Ground, Easton, Talbot County, Maryland, USA.
I have contacted the Burial Ground to get plot information, as I was planning to visit it soon. They have responded that they can not locate any information that shows she is buried there.
Can I ask where you got the information showing her burial at Third Haven? Then I can go back to them to see if they can locate the grave.

I hope I did not cause this but, Robert was married to only Sarah Ann Fairbanks. Her sister was Elizabeth and she married Robert Dixon. two generations down their decendants, John Kemp Barlett 1863 married Mary Garrett Dixon 1865, the decendant of Robert Dixon and Elizabeth Fairbanks.
Neither of these girls married more than once.
I am sorry if this is my fault.

I got so excited that I forgot to say exactly what is wrong. It is their son James that is married to Mary Ann Bartlett. I know you did all the work here but i really would like to have Robert, Elizabeth because I am certain I know who is who. Please.
|Linda J. Morris||You have the wrong information|
Elizabeth did not die until 1825. This was in her fathers papers who by the way, was a member of Third Haven. Their only child was James.

Hello, May I ask you where in the world you found all this information. I am from Elizabeth's brother and after many years of looking, here are family members. WOW I knew if course that they were all Quakers and believe it or not, my line remaind Quakers up until my Grandmother birth. If you are not in this family, I would like to ask you for their memorials so I can really research them. If you are in my family, I have tons of information on 7 of Eliabeths siblings. When I saw Capt. John I had to laugh. It seems like all the men in the family were riverboad Captains and John's Grandfather's obiutary was in the New York times on the front page. He was a Capt. too! In total there were 5 family men who were.
I can't hardly wait to hear from you.

My prayers are with you. Remember the good times. Both of my parents have been gone for a long time and I still miss them. I often say I would give everything I own for five more minutes. I really believe we will see them again so hang in there.

Sorry - I hit the wrong button. I have transferred your Dad to you and just wanted to say I am sorry for your loss.

|Aleta Kay Dye||Herman Lipsius|
I am the daughter of Herman Frederick Lipsius, buried in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Talbot, MD. My brother, Rev. Herman Lipsius is also buried there. My father's name was listed on this site as Rev Herman Lipsius, married to my mother, Letha Lipsius. I have corrected this through the edit option, but wanted you to be aware that Herman Lipsius born in 1911 was not a Rev. He did serve in WWII in the infantry and was awarded a few medals.
My brother, Herman E., was the reverend.
Thank you for the work you do in posting the gravesites so that people like me, who can no longer visit the graves, can at least save the photo to the family tree.
